General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will blow her top after eavesdropping on Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) conversation with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).
Nina will overhear enough to convince her that Carly had a hand in Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) cliff fall – and that Jax has been covering for Carly the entire time.
GH fans can expect Nina to cause quite a commotion during Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) memorial service. Nina will hurl accusations and make a real scene while the Corinthos clan is trying to lay Sonny to rest.
Jax will hope to get through to Nina, but she’ll be fed up with his lies and constant attempts to protect Carly. Although Jax will maintain that Nelle’s death was an accident, Nina just won’t buy it.
After Jax repeatedly fails to change Nina’s mind, Carly will get pretty concerned. She’ll worry that Nina could get the investigation reopened and poke holes in her story.
However, Nina could end up going even further in her quest for vengeance. General Hospital viewers know Nina had a phone conversation with “Mike,” who’s actually the one and only Sonny Corinthos.
Nina hasn’t figured out that “Mike” is Carly’s presumed dead husband yet, but you can bet she will eventually.
GH writers put Nina’s former nurse, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), at the center of Sonny’s amnesia storyline, which is now overlapping with Nina’s revenge story.
Plus, Nina has spoken to Sonny on the phone and should come to realize exactly who that was in time – maybe even after another chat with “Mike” over the phone or in person.
Of course, we also know Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is trying to help Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) get his mother back. Since Valentin is always in Nina’s orbit, he’ll become a big part of her upcoming drama.
Nina may sit on the secret for a while, but could she ultimately decide to aid Valentin’s mission to reunite Martin and his mom?
Now that Nina feels robbed of her daughter, she may determine that she can’t let Carly rob Martin of whatever time he has left with Florence Grey (Annie Abbott).
As the mob war escalates, Nina may also fret over the threat to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Nina might decide to strike a deal with Cyrus to make sure her grandson stays protected.
If Nina can’t score custody of Wiley, it makes sense that she’d resort to other ways of keeping him safe.
Perhaps Nina could get Cyrus’ word that Wiley will remain unharmed. In exchange, Nina could tell Cyrus where to find Sonny and give him the leverage he needs to make certain his mom is returned.
Whatever the case, Nina should eventually discover Sonny is alive and that brings the potential for her to expose his location to Cyrus.
Sonny has to find his way back to Port Charles somehow, so maybe a deal between Nina and Cyrus could move things along! We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates become available.
