General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) recently did a fun Twitter Q&A with her fans. In honor of Grahn’s 25th anniversary celebration on the show, Grahn wanted to do something special for viewers and answer any burning questions they might have.
Grahn had some interesting hints to offer about the future, but let’s reflect on the past and present first.
GH fans were treated to an emotional Alexis-centric episode, which led to Alexis conquering some inner demons and confronting her buried issues. Alexis finally broke free from her childhood trauma before she began her Pentonville stint.
Now Alexis seems to have found her purpose and will put her legal skills to good use helping others behind bars.
Of course, Alexis probably won’t be stuck in prison for the entirety of her three-year sentence. That seems kind of harsh for the soap world, where people get away with far worse all the time!
Alexis could get out for early parole in two and a half years, but she may not even have to stay that long. There are plenty of soapy ways to get Alexis out sooner, including prison overcrowding.
Regardless, Grahn confirmed she’s still on General Hospital and isn’t going anywhere. This is just an exciting new story path for Alexis, but what happens once Alexis is a free woman again?
Alexis will have a chance to reclaim her life and gain a fresh start. She now understands that she deserves to be happy, so that’s a crucial first step.
Since Alexis talked to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) about all the toxic men she’d dated, maybe a good one will walk into Alexis’ life following her prison stay. What about Roger Howarth’s (ex-Franco Baldwin) new character?
Howarth is returning as someone other than Franco or Todd Manning, so there’ll be some intriguing possibilities.
That brings us back to Grahn’s Twitter Q&A and a question that could shape Alexis’ romantic future. “Who is someone in the cast that you never get to work with, but would love to?” one GH viewer asked. “Roger, Jeff, more with Maura… and more,” Grahn replied.
It’s Roger Howarth in particular we want to concentrate on since he’ll need a new love interest when he comes back on the scene, too.
Could Howarth’s character be paired up with Alexis once she’s free and ready to move forward? It’s an interesting thought to ponder as we look forward to Alexis’ freedom!
