General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) may get a Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) clue and investigate the plane crash details with Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) help. Let’s talk about Sam’s former flame and the first hints that could lead up to Drew’s return from the dead.
GH fans know Sam reflected on her marriage to Drew in the July 30 episode. Sam seemed grateful for the time she was able to spend with Drew, especially since he gave her a daughter.
Scout Cain (Emma Ramacieri) no doubt still misses her dad, so that could provide some extra motivation to look into a clue that’s brewing.
During the week of August 9-13, Sam will receive a message that’s rather mysterious. It’ll seem to be concealing something, so perhaps it’ll be written in code.
Regardless, Sam will be puzzled and rather unsettled. She’ll realize she could use some backup, so she’ll seek Dante’s assistance.
Of course, it seems significant that Sam’s turning to Dante instead of Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) or someone else who’s already involved in the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) story.
That could mean this mystery message won’t be related to the Hayden case at all.
Dante will indeed look into a case, but could that case actually be the one surrounding Drew?
Could Drew somehow send Sam a veiled message that only she would understand?
That’d be a good reason for Sam to investigate again and explore the possibility that Drew actually survived the plane crash Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ordered.
Some leaked scripts and other behind-the-scenes info point to Drew being in a foreign prison, but he might still be able to communicate with Sam.
If Drew befriends the right people on the inside, maybe he can get a letter or email to Sam – one that could ultimately lead to her discovering Scout’s father is still alive.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew’s comeback will bring some gripping scenes, but the show has to start somewhere.
That could mean Sam could get her first inkling that Drew somehow survived!
