General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will find Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) mom on August 9, so it looks like he’ll grill Naomi Dreyfus (last played by Robin Riker) about her daughter’s location and secret shooter.
Of course, Shawn might send Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in his place or at least have her there as backup. This will continue to be a team effort for Shawn and Sam, so they may team up to talk to Naomi.
Regardless, GH spoilers say Shawn will discover information that leads to Naomi, but she should have a new face when fans see her again.
Back in June, a leaked script surfaced that hinted at a Naomi Dreyfus recast.
It turns out Naomi’s set to stick around and spend some time with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), so she’ll eventually become a big part of Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) story with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Naomi’s return will definitely shake things up now that Finn and Liz’s romance is brewing.
Until then, Sam and Shawn will hope that maybe Hayden’s mom can provide answers.
They’ll be looking for Hayden’s location and secret shooter info, so we’ll see how much Naomi knows – or at least how much she’s willing to divulge.
Naturally, the inclusion of Hayden’s mother seemingly guarantees that we’ll see Hayden back sooner or later.
It’d be weird to have Naomi on canvas without building to a reunion with her daughter.
Hayden is bound to resurface at some point, so Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had better watch his back!
Not only did Nikolas order the hit that nearly killed Hayden and left her comatose, he’s the reason she’s been away from Violet for so long.
Nikolas created a situation where Hayden believed she was in danger along with her little girl, so she went into hiding and never came back.
There have been hints about Hayden getting caught up in some danger during her time away.
Once Hayden escapes that danger or gets rescued somehow, she can finally return to Port Charles.
Nikolas could face Hayden’s revenge, but for now he’ll have to worry about Naomi Dreyfus and what she’s going to spill.
