General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have a very spooky Valentine’s Day experience that will be unnerving to say the least. It looks like Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will head out for a nice dinner at the Metro Court when a surprise gift arrives at the table.
Ava will be enchanted for sure, but the gift will end up being something terribly inappropriate for Valentine’s Day – let’s just say that it won’t be jewelry or any other symbol of love. What the object does end up being remains to be seen, but it’s going to be shocking, and it won’t have come from Nikolas.
Well, whatever the “gift” is, it’s going to mar the romantic spirit of the holiday for both Ava and Nikolas. And since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is the person who seems to most want Ava and Nikolas separated, the couple may start to panic that perhaps Ryan has somehow recovered enough from his “locked in” syndrome to send this horrible present.
And although it would certainly be like Ryan to send a shocking something to Ava and try to ruin Valentine’s Day for her, it’s entirely possible that Nikolas and Ava will discover that there’s been no perceptible change in Ryan’s condition and that he’s still catatonic and unable to communicate, let alone arrange to have something sent to Ava.
That might lead Ava and Nikolas to consider who else could have sent some awful present, and we have an inkling of who could have done it – Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel)!
Spencer may be out of Port Charles and off at boarding school, but chances are, he’s got his finger on the pulse of what’s going on with his father’s marriage to Ava, and he may not be happy about that.
If Spencer is the person behind the mysterious and creepy delivery to Ava, then that could signal some big problems to come for Ava and Nikolas. Ava and Nikolas have just turned a corner, allowing themselves permission to be happy and enjoy their marriage with no pesky prenup or other negative feelings hanging over their heads.
But what if Spencer crops up as the newest problem between Nikolas and Ava? Spencer might feel like it’s high time for his father to divorce Ava, and he could even put Nikolas in the position of having to choose between his son and his wife.
That would be a situation fraught with emotion and angst for everyone involved!
We’ll see what happens here, but there is probably a pretty good chance that the person who so rudely interrupts Ava and Nikolas’ Valentine’s Day could be Spencer himself.
