General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, April 8, tease that a special episode is coming up to honor Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis Davis) upcoming 25th anniversary on the show.
It’ll be the night before Alexis is set to report to Pentonville and begin her sentence, so this will bring some emotional moments and gestures of support. At Kelly’s, Alexis will sit down with some friends that she won’t be able to see for a while.
This will bring one last chance for coffee with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). It sounds like it’ll be a bit of a goodbye party in a way.
The gang will share a toast with Alexis as Finn points out she can find the silver lining in anything. When pressed to find one about this prison stint, Alexis might express her hope that she can get her life together behind bars and come out stronger on the other side.
However, things are going to be awfully tough in the meantime. Alexis’ courage will impress Ned, who’ll pull her aside and suggest they can all learn from her example.
Ned will give Alexis a warm hug as she prepares to face her punishment and tackle this challenge head-on.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will get his own chance to speak with Alexis, so he’ll offer some words of wisdom. Valentin will insist that as long as they’re true to themselves, they’ll never be lost.
“It’s too bad I don’t know who the hell I am anymore,” Alexis will reply. Thursday’s GH preview shows Alexis struggling ahead of her Pentonville sentence, but Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will do his best to help.
This will bring an opportunity for Alexis to look deep in her past and try to figure out how she reached this low point.
Alexis will think back on some childhood memories and admit there’s one that keeps coming back to her – like she’s seeing it for the first time. General Hospital spoilers say fans will see some newly created flashbacks involving Alexis as a little girl.
Alexis is also set to encounter an unexpected character in this anniversary show, so that may be her now deceased mother. This could be part of Alexis exploring her history as she looks to the future and braces for the difficulties of life behind bars.
Alexis will get some last-minute support from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and even a pep talk from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), so there’ll be a lot going on in Grahn’s 25th anniversary episode. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates come in.
