General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, August 10 Recap – Tracy Cheated Austin - Finn Shuts Down Naomi Suicide Suspicions

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 10, reveals that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) shut down Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) suicide suspicions and insisted this had to be a case of foul play. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) also stirred up trouble for the Quartermaines, so here’s how it all went down on Tuesday’s shocking episode.

At the hotel, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) reeled over finding Naomi dead on the floor. Shawn pushed Sam to leave since her parole could be in jeopardy, but Sam couldn’t just leave a deceased woman there.

Instead of calling 911, Sam opted to call someone she trusted – and that someone was Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Dante was at GH grilling Finn about the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) case, but Finn was saved from having to provide answers since Dante got summoned regarding Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) mother.

After Dante arrived in Naomi’s hotel room with backup, Finn followed and thought he could help. However, Naomi had clearly been dead for a while.

Due to the strong prescription found in the bathroom, Dante wondered if suicide was the cause of death.

Finn shut down that idea since Naomi never would’ve made plans with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) if she was planning to kill herself. He felt this had to be a cause of foul play.

Sam told Dante about the weird clues Naomi had offered like giving the wrong middle name and offering that fishy story about Hayden being such a bad mom.

Shawn felt confident that Naomi was murdered and that someone was willing to kill to make sure they didn’t find out what happened to Hayden.

By the Metro Court pool, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) confronted Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) about the letter and why he never said anything about it before.

Spencer argued that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was locked in, so he didn’t even consider him as a stalker possibility when the cockroach incident happened.

Spencer added that he then sent the letter back, so Nikolas settled down and offered an apology, which Spencer quickly accepted.

In a private moment, Spencer told Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) how important it was for Nikolas to never know he was in town before he revealed himself.

As for Nikolas, he looked at when the letter was marked return to sender and realized it didn’t line up with Spencer’s claims. Spencer returned the letter to Ryan before the cockroach drama, so Nikolas caught his son in a lie.

Nikolas reconvened with Spencer to claim he was going to Dubai on business, but Spencer nixed the idea of staying with his grandma or going with Nikolas. He assured Nikolas that he’d be fine at Wyndemere alone with just the servants.

As Nikolas stood nearby watching and listening, Spencer told Trina this was the perfect time to throw that rager. Nikolas booked a room for himself at the Metro Court and planned to teach his son a lesson with an unforgettable party.

At GH, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) mistakenly assumed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was using Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) last name.

Willow insisted that she’d enrolled as Willow Tait in the nursing program, so it was just easier to stick with it.

It was Willow’s first day as a student nurse, so she was excited to have Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) show her the ropes.

Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) quizzed Willow on her knowledge and was impressed with how much she knew.

Later, Finn found Liz and offered updates on Naomi’s death, so Felix offered to let Willow shadow him while she processed everything.

Finn was worried about how he was going to break the news of Grandma’s death to Violet, so Liz was willing to help.

Meanwhile, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) pushed Chase to make an exit with impact rather than a graceful one. He thought Chase deserved payback since his best friend was screwing his lawfully wedded wife.

Chase didn’t see it that way, but Austin kept trying to act like they were in such similar situations – Chase had been cheated on just like Austin had been cheated out of his inheritance.

Austin acted like all the Quartermaines ever did was take and pushed Chase to get revenge on Michael.

Chase found out that Austin believed there was evidence to support his claims in Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) old study. He felt like Chase had access to that since he was still living under the Quartermaine roof.

Chase had to go and seemed like he was going to tell Willow the truth, but he ultimately backed out. Instead, Chase suggested he was disappointed because he couldn’t take his steps at physical therapy.

Willow offered encouraging words and said she’d see Chase at home, so he confirmed that she’d indeed see him there. Chase exchanged a glare with Austin like he was on board with helping.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) called an emergency family meeting since he found out about Tracy causing trouble.

It turns out Tracy eventually started intercepting those letters between Edward and Jimmy Lee Holt, so there might be some statement that backs up the idea of Edward wanting to change his will.

Ned acknowledged that Tracy was probably trying to keep Jimmy Lee from cutting into the fortune and suggested they’d be no better if they tried to keep Austin from what was rightfully his.

Nevertheless, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pointed out that there was no proof of the changes, so they had to go along with Edward’s known wishes.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) backed Brook Lynn up on going with the existing will. Ned said that meant trying to strike a deal with Austin and trying to buy him out in one lump sum.

Afterward, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) cornered Ned and seemed impressed by his attitude adjustment about trying to do the right thing. Ned remained hopeful about proving he was worthy of Olivia, so they kept making progress in their relationship.

Back with Brook Lynn, she quizzed Michael about the Chase situation again. Michael made it clear that he was trying to do what was best for Chase along with Willow.

General Hospital spoilers say Michael may feel betrayed by the time Chase is through, but perhaps it serves him right for the unnecessary deception!
