General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, June 22 Recap – Kiki Haunts Ava – Jason’s Ominous Offer – Maxie Slips Using Louise’s Name

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 22, teases that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was haunted by Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made an ominous offer. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) also slipped by using Louise August’s (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) real name in front of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), so let’s talk about how it all played out.

At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) filled Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) in on the good news about Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and received updates on everything Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discovered in Pautauk.

Jordan also talked to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about how Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) was holding up following the hostage crisis.

Portia admitted to not having much time to worry about herself, so Jordan offered a sympathetic ear if she ever needed one.

Over with Chase, he pushed for answers about his miracle cure. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) kept trying to delay the explanation, but he ultimately left Gregory Chase (Harrison) in charge of filling Chase in.

Chase was stunned to find out Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) tampered with the paternity test results, so that led to the DNA confusion.

Gregory’s DNA was used for the cure, so Chase realized that his father had saved him – though Gregory insisted it was a team effort.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) made it clear to Jason that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was no longer a threat. Liz didn’t want Jason wasting his time searching for Peter, but she couldn’t spill details and needed Jason to trust her.

Jason let Liz know he’d handle anything she needed no questioned asked if something came up.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Valentin seemed uneasy when he arrived home with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and found Maxie holding the baby.

Maxie made matters worse by referring to the kid as “Louise,” but she corrected herself and tried to downplay the blunder.

Brook Lynn stepped outside with Maxie and complained about her nearly blowing them out of the water. She insisted Valentin was smart and could catch on if Maxie pulled stunts like this.

Brook Lynn suggested she could let Valentin in on the scheme if it’d convince Maxie to stick to their plan of protecting Louise, but Maxie finally insisted they should keep Valentin in the dark.

However, Maxie argued that it physically hurt to be away from her baby – and she was tired of lying to the people she loves.

Maxie just wanted this to be over, so Brook Lynn comforted her and alluded to there perhaps being a way for Maxie to be with Louise.

As for Anna, she overheard Valentin making a sweet speech to “Bailey” and filled him in on the latest details from Pautauk.

Valentin felt partly responsible for Maxie’s situation due to enabling Peter, so he resolved to take a trip to Pautauk with Anna and help get more answers. Brook Lynn and Maxie seemed uncomfortable over the news of that trip.

Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) made his way to The Savoy, where Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was busy planning Trina’s upcoming graduation party.

Taggert thanked Curtis for his heroic efforts during the hostage situation and felt Curtis should talk to Portia himself if he wanted to know how she was doing.

Next, Jason stopped by to see Curtis. After he expressed gratitude for Curtis’ role in taking Cyrus down, Jason hinted about helping Curtis as he started his business.

Although Curtis wanted to remain independent, Jason offered his friendship and vowed to be there if Curtis’ independence was ever threatened. Somewhat eerie music played like something big might be brewing!

Taggert found Portia at the hospital and asked her to have dinner so they could go over plans for Trina’s graduation bash.

Jordan also looked at a text from Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), who was curious about how things were going between Jordan and Curtis.

Finn had an emotional conversation with Elizabeth about how he’d gotten used to the idea of being Chase’s father. Being a dad was something Finn liked and was good at.

Finn felt a sense of loss, but Liz offered a pep talk and he accepted that he’d go back to being the big brother. Once Finn returned to Chase’s room, they shared a heartfelt brotherly moment.

At the Metro Court, Ava insisted she couldn’t do this anymore and refused to put Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) at risk.

Ava felt Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) knew her better than anyone, so he knew she wouldn’t survive the loss of another child.

After Ava talked about Kiki’s death, she argued she couldn’t lose Avery as well and didn’t think Nikolas would risk Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicolas Bechtel) in her position.

Ava wanted Nikolas to go back home to Wyndemere and not come back, but Nikolas didn’t want to let the stalker win.

However, there was nothing more important to Ava than protecting Avery – not even how she felt about Nikolas. Ava pushed Nikolas to go while she still loved him or else she’d do whatever it took to be free of him.

As they both cried, Nikolas declared this wasn’t forever and refused to give up before he left her alone in the hotel suite.

General Hospital spoilers say Ava may have to take drastic action to push Nikolas away, so stay tuned to see what else she might have up her sleeve.
