General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 16, reveals that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) was angry and emotional in the cemetery. Cam reflected on losing too many people who had been laid to rest and ranted in front of the gravestone belonging to his father, Zander Smith (Chad Brannon).
Cameron felt like maybe if Zander had stuck around and been a father to him, things would’ve been different. Zander’s ghost appeared and admitted it was indeed his fault. Zander was sorry about the bad choices that led to his early death, but he warned Cameron not to make the same mistakes.
After Zander mentioned Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), he suggested that Cameron shouldn’t make everything Franco ever tried to do for Cam a lie. Cameron responded angrily and felt this was the very definition of too little, too late.
Zander argued that Cameron was at a fork in the road. If Cameron chose wrong, then it’d be like father, like son. After Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) showed up with flowers for graves of those they’d lost, Cameron argued that he didn’t need anybody.
However, Trina and Josslyn insisted Cam wasn’t the only one who’d faced loss lately, so they felt he should accept their support. Cameron put on a smile and acted like they were right, but it was obvious he was putting on an act.
At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) insisted that the past was dead and added that he killed it.
Maxie wondered what that meant, so Peter lied that he was talking about a symbolic death – the death of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and all her lies as well as the death of Peter’s friendship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Maxie initially fought back against Peter and demanded that he leave his key to the apartment. She declared that Peter was never honest with her, but she was going to be honest with him.
Maxie insisted that Peter would never be in her life or this baby’s life. Peter warned that Maxie would know better than to try to keep his child from him, so the mood shifted as Maxie became unsettled.
Maxie decided she’d better appease Peter for now, so she suggested he was right – that perhaps she just needed some time. Peter smiled and suggested that was more like it.
However, Peter was unwilling to hand over the key and claimed he’d never forgive himself if anything happened to Maxie, James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) or Baby Lou.
Once Peter left on Tuesday’s General Hospital episode, Maxie hastily deadbolted the door and assured her baby that she’d never share her. At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) revealed she was pregnant to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Brook Lynn dodged questions about the “baby daddy” and even suggested the father was none of Michael’s business.
Brook Lynn didn’t think Michael had any right to judge since he had a baby with that psychopath Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nevertheless, Michael felt like the Wiley Quartemaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) situation taught him how important it was not to keep secrets.
Michael brought up how Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tried to make a deal that’d give Michael control of ELQ in exchange for Wiley and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) visits.
Brook Lynn suggested that Valentin does have a heart then, though Michael couldn’t allow his son to be a pawn in business.
Later, Michael pushed Brook Lynn to admit Valentin was her baby’s father since Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told him about Brook Lynn’s night with Valentin.
Brook Lynn admitted it was true but that she might not even tell Valentin, so Michael wondered how long she could keep this a secret. Michael argued that “the man could do math!”
Brook Lynn mentioned the earlier part of their conversation where she acknowledged that Valentin had a heart. Even so, Michael warned that Valentin Cassadine was still Valentin Cassadine. Michael insisted Brook Lynn was playing a very dangerous game.
At GH, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) interrupted a close moment between Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Soon after, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) appeared and wanted to check on her shot son.
Gladys claimed she’d been in town for a few days and was just now working up the nerve to visit Brando.
After Sasha and Cyrus stepped away, Brando pushed to find out what angle Gladys was working. Gladys pretended to be hurt by the accusation of ulterior motives. Brando made it clear that the closer you get to Cyrus, the more dangerous it is.
Gladys wanted to hang around town to make sure Brando was OK – and meanwhile, Sasha and Cyrus had an intriguing conversation in the hall. Sasha suggested she couldn’t figure Cyrus out since the way he cares for Brando makes him seem almost human.
However, Sasha eventually suggested she knew exactly what Cyrus was.
Once Cyrus was alone on Tuesday’s GH episode, Gladys caught up with him and suggested she’d like nicer accommodations. Gladys wanted to stay at the Metro Court and thought it was the least Cyrus could do since she’s looking out for his interests.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, she announced to her daughters that she was entering a guilty plea. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainworth) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) all took turns weighing in.
There were plenty of complaints, but Alexis felt like this was the one thing that could save her.
Molly and her sisters wanted Alexis to acknowledge that Pentonville wasn’t an appropriate rehab. Even so, Alexis was sure they’d have an AA group – and if they didn’t, she’d start one. Valentin also showed up to this meeting at Alexis’ request and backed her up on taking responsibility for her actions.
As other GH news rolls in, we’ll keep bringing you updates. General Hospital spoilers say Alexis indeed has a stint at Pentonville in her future. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your go-to source.
