General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, March 23 Recap – Sonny’s Memory Loss Stuns Nina – Cameron’s Farewell Gift to Franco

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 23, reveals that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) stopped by Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) new nightclub, which he seemed excited about running. Curtis felt he had Portia to thank for helping him decide on this new career path.

Once Portia revealed that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) was there, Trina apologized to Curtis for blaming him for Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews). Curtis was understanding and suggested a fresh start between them.

At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) was adamant about making sure Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) went down for killing Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). If the law wouldn’t make Jason pay, Cameron vowed to find someone who would!

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was on hand to hear Cameron’s fierce determination and hustled him off to someone who might be able to help. Cameron and Laura wound up at Curtis’ nightclub, but Curtis noted he was out of the PI business and breaking away from those connections.

Cam was upset over the news, so Curtis suggested maybe he could still find a way to help.

Until then, Curtis pushed Cameron to be patient since justice tends to take time. He felt like Cameron should turn that angry energy into something positive – and Trina found a nearby guitar for Cam to play.

Since Cameron wasn’t able to say goodbye to Franco at the memorial, he ended up performing a song as a special farewell to his stepdad.

Back with Liz on Tuesday’s GH episode, she got a visit from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Finn was supportive to Elizabeth in her time of grief, but she wanted to check on him, too.

Finn opened up about his split from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and confessed the paternity results revealed he was Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) biological father.

After Liz processed that shocker and learned it had been splashed all over the news, she had some comforting words for Finn. A call came in from Laura, who encouraged Elizabeth to get over to the nightclub ASAP.

Finn agreed to watch Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Aiden Webber (Jason David), so Liz was able to hear the beautiful song Cameron performed.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) warned Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about the dangers of using her baby as a bargaining chip.

Brook Lynn was adamant about doing it anyway and felt she had everything under control.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pushed Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for help since he’s going to be a father again. Martin assumed Valentin needed a discreet settlement to make the problem go away, but Valentin wanted Martin to charm the mother instead.

If that didn’t work, Valentin was prepared to let Martin do his worst in court.

Martin offered free advice instead and suggested it’d be best if Valentin worked this out with the mother amicably. After Valentin arrived at Quartermaine mansion, he found Brook Lynn encouraging Ned and Michael to tone down their hostility toward Valentin.

For all his faults, Valentin has been a good father to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

That led Valentin pipe up about how Brook Lynn was right. He promised he’d respect any pregnancy-related choices and would support Brook Lynn in any way he could.

After Brook Lynn assured Valentin that she’d be in touch with him soon, she’ll turned her attention back to Michael and Ned. Brook Lynn felt like her plan to regain ELQ control using her baby was already working.

At the Metro Court, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) taunted Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over the fact that grandparents had rights in the state of New York. After Ava pulled Martin over to confirm, he insisted Ava was right – particularly in a case where one of the parents died.

Ava told Carly that she’d pass along updates to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and warned that Carly might lose her grandson, Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) was hopeful that if Ava did talk to Nina, Ava would at least relay how much he misses her.

At The Tan-O, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) said he knew Nina and suggested she was the blonde woman from his dreams. Although Sonny could never make out the face, he felt Nina was familiar.

Sonny talked about hearing Nina’s voice on the phone and then greeted her by the name on her passport. The whole time Nina was completely flustered and trying to ask questions.

Nina heard Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) call Sonny by the name “Mike” and learned it came from the watch he was wearing. Phyllis shared how Sonny was in an accident and couldn’t remember who he was, so Nina wandered if there was any medical danger to him discovering his true identity.

Phyllis argued that “Mike” would probably take that risk. After Phyllis stepped out, Nina approached Sonny at the bar and mentioned that Phyllis brought her up to speed on his memory loss.

Sonny joked that he was “Mr. Nobody,” but Nina argued that everybody was somebody. Since Sonny overheard a bit of Nina and Phyllis’ conversation, he invited Nina to say whatever it was she had to say.

On Tuesday’s General Hospital episode, Nina admitted she wasn’t the blonde woman from Sonny’s dreams, but she touched his hand tenderly and insisted everything would be OK. Nina then placed a call to Carly and insisted she had something very important to tell her.

General Hospital spoilers say some exciting developments are still to come in Sonny’s storyline, so stay tuned. CDL will have other hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts to read up on, so make sure to stop by often.
