General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, May 4 Recap – Jason’s Blood Transfusion – Cyrus’ Stabbing Victim – Cameron Arrested

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 4, reveals that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) ultimately lowered her weapon and instructed Cameron Webber (William Lipton) to do the same in the parking garage.

Cameron seemed agitated and bewildered, but he finally lowered the gun and let Jordan take it from him.

When the cops serving as Jordan’s backup moved to arrest Cameron, he flipped out. Cameron argued that he didn’t do anything, but Jordan insisted this was for Cam’s own good and read him his rights as he was handcuffed.

One of Cyrus’ goons was dead on the ground, but Jordan wanted the nearby blood tested to see if it was the same type as Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) or Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud).

The cops were unsure about whether Britt was a hostage or a willing accomplice. Later, Jordan got confirmation that the blood was a match for Jason.

Speaking of Jason, he was taken to the safe house in bad shape following his gunshot wound. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) showed up and learned there’d been a complication, but Jason tried to act like he’d be OK for the five families meeting. He wanted Britt to just patch him up and properly fix him tomorrow.

Britt insisted this wasn’t something that would be a temporary fix. She warned that if she didn’t close up the wound, then Jason would bleed to death. Carly put Jason’s life in Britt’s hands as Britt got medical supplies from Brick (Stephen A. Smith).

Jason was losing a lot of blood and ultimately lost consciousness, but Britt moved ahead with the procedure. She eventually admitted Jason needed an urgent blood transfusion – and there wasn’t time to wait on a supply to be found.

Since Carly knew she had the same blood type as Jason, she pushed Britt to take some of her blood for Jason.

After the transfusion, Jason started to improve – though Britt admitted Carly’s men would still need to get their hands on more blood for him. Once Britt was alone, she reached for a bottle on the table and had to steady her trembling hand. Jason started to wake up and asked about Carly first thing.

As for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), he was furious over Jason and Britt getting away. The man who’d been posing as a janitor explained how the escape when down, but his excuses didn’t satisfy this General Hospital villain.

Cyrus suggested it was unfortunate the janitor didn’t get shot in the garage too. He then whipped out his switchblade and stabbed his goon in the alley.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) made it down to the parking garage with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), who warned Cameron not to say anything more.

Cam kept trying to explain that he simply picked the gun up and didn’t shoot, but Finn knew he needed to wait for his lawyer. He assured Cameron that the security footage would clear him if it happened how he said.

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) was summoned and assured Cameron that he was going to help him, though he scolded Cam for what he’d already said so far. Scott added that Cameron shouldn’t bring up Jason’s name.

Meanwhile, Cyrus took the opportunity to needle Jordan about the PR disaster for General Hospital and wondered what Jordan was doing to find his chief of staff.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) came to the parking garage with Scott, so Cyrus hoped Liesl would put his mind at ease if she heard from Britt. Obrecht said Cyrus would be her first call, but she scowled as Cyrus walked away.

“But if she’s been harmed, I’ll cut your heart out, you swine!” Liesl said to herself on Tuesday’s General Hospital episode.

Across town, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) pushed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to come back on the force and was met with some resistance. However, Dante agreed to help when Mac got a call about the delicate situation at GH.

As for Jordan, she noted that people can get disoriented and terrified when chaos erupts like that. Jordan suggested that Cameron might’ve pulled the trigger without even knowing it.

Jordan also wondered if Dante had decided to return to the PCPD, but he suggested he was just assisting with this case for now. Mac wanted Dante’s help bringing Jason in alive, so Dante was on board.

Obrecht cornered Jordan to insist that Britt had been facing pressure from Cyrus. Liesl argued that whatever happened here today, Cyrus was behind it. She wanted Cyrus brought to justice.

General Hospital spoilers say Liesl could make serious trouble for Cyrus if he dares to hurt her Britta!

In Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) hospital room on Tuesday’s GH episode, he tried to get up and help with the shooter crisis. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) stopped Chase, who hated not knowing what was wrong with him and when he’d be able to resume his old life.

Chase felt like loving Willow was the only thing that made sense and the only thing he was sure of.

On the GH elevator, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was secretive about a doctor’s appointment that she didn’t want to talk about. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) worried Sasha was having regrets about their night together, but she assured him it was memorable.

Upon getting off the elevator, Brando got some new alley cleanup and warehouse prep orders from Cyrus. Sasha also had a prickly exchange with Cyrus before secretly boarding the elevator again.

Next, Sasha checked on Chase and received updates on the nightmare he was going through. Once Sasha stepped out in the hall with Willow, she gushed over how well things had turned out for Willow and Chase. Willow looked uncomfortable as she talked about her efforts to help Chase.

Sasha suggested that Willow and Chase gave her hope about things working out for the best sometimes. She thought Chase and Willow deserved to have a happy life together.

As for Chase, he voiced his frustration with Finn since he was eager to get back to his future with Willow. Finn assured Chase that he was doing everything he could to make him well.

Back with Carly, she decided she’d be the one to attend the meeting of the five families. Before Carly left, she told Brick to handle that thing she asked him to do earlier and get out of town.

Brick wondered if Carly was sure, but she insisted she was. “Oh, yeah. They’ve got it coming,” Carly said on Tuesday’s General Hospital episode.

Cyrus sauntered in the five families meeting and was glad he was given a seat at the table. He was ready to begin, but Carly entered looking powerful in her heels and white dress. “Not so fast,” Carly said. “NOW we can begin.”
