General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, September 14 Recap – Peter Tells Phyllis Mike’s True Identity – Sonny Finds Bar in Flames

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 14, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) revealed “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) true identity to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) before Sonny found the bar in flames! Here’s how it all played out on Tuesday’s GH episode.

At Spring Ridge, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) acknowledged her concerns about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and rehashed how Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadrandel) history with Dawn of Day wouldn’t be forgiven or forgotten after what happened to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).

However, Harmony made it clear that she was trying to focus on a better path. She hinted about Alexis perhaps being lonely and mentioned how visits from loved ones weren’t always enough or sometimes made things worse.

There was talk about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) being trouble – and Harmony knew first-hand since that was exactly the kind of girl Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) used to collect: beautiful as a butterfly yet vicious as a nest of vipers.

Harmony mentioned Esme’s disturbing interest in Ryan, who seemed upset by her.

Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) joked around with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and gave him some pointers at the batting cages.

They shared some close moments before Dante suggested they were celebrating Sam’s parole being over.

That led to a conversation about whether Shiloh might’ve known who Peter used to take down Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) plane.

Although Shiloh was dead, Harmony was very much alive and might be useful.

Once Sam and Dante stopped by Spring Ridge to see Harmony about the case, she lashed out since she was on the straight and narrow now.

Sam insisted they were there to ask for help rather than make accusations.

In captivity, Nurse Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kulhman) examined Drew and was glad to see he didn’t appear to have broken any ribs. When Drew asked about the accents of the guards, Chloe suggested they seemed to be from all over.

That was good news from Drew’s perspective since it could mean they’re mercenaries and only in this for money – not to the point that they’ll risk their lives.

Chloe eventually urged Drew to cry out in pain and told the guard that he’d punctured a lung. Drew was able to gain the upper hand and knock the guard out as a result.

After stealing the guard’s keys, Chloe and Drew headed for a door as they tried to make a break for it. In the end, only Chloe was able to get out.

Drew urged her to take one of the cars in the courtyard and seek help at an embassy, so she did what she was told while Drew took another beating from some guards.

Back in Port Charles, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) chewed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) out for pretending to be “Victor” and lurking around town for weeks.

Josslyn was upset over Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) being dragged into things and being manipulated into keeping the secret since she liked Spencer.

Spencer seemed pleased to hear that Trina liked him and admitted he liked her, too. However, Esme joined the conversation and felt Joss could share whatever she had to say with both of them since they had no secrets.

After Esme found out this was about the whole “Victor” situation, Spencer was annoyed since she basically threw him under the bus and acted like he did this all by himself.

Josslyn raised an eyebrow and seemed to realize Esme might be involved in whatever Spencer was hiding.

Esme explained that she should’ve announced her arrival in advance and made it clear that Spencer was unavailable sooner – that way Trina wouldn’t have gotten any ideas.

Once Joss left the table, Esme nibbled Spencer’s ear and reassured her boyfriend about doing what was best for him.

In Nixon Falls, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) bicker with Sonny, who remained in the dark on his past since Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hadn’t had a chance to come clean yet.

Jax argued this was about the two of them as well since Nina wasn’t the first or even the second woman they’d fought over. Sonny pushed Jax to reveal his identity and tell if he had a family, but then he told Jax to forget it.

Sonny felt like everything out of Jax’s mouth was a lie anyway, but Jax urged Sonny to go hear the truth from Nina.

At The Tan-O, Peter taunted Nina by suggesting that maybe there was a special corner of hell where she could reunite with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nina called Peter a “sick, twisted son of a bitch” and felt his baby girl would be so much better off without him.

Peter also forced Phyllis to get rope and duct tape as he planned their deadly fates.

At one point, Peter revealed that Nina knew “Mike” was actually Sonny Corinthos from Port Charles – and that he had a beautiful wife along with plenty of grieving children.

Phyllis was stunned and seemed hurt that Nina had kept this information quiet, but Nina argued that “Mike” was a better man.

In the end, Peter made sure the women were properly restrained with their mouths taped up. Peter doused the place in kerosene and set it ablaze with a match – just before Sonny appeared and realized the women were trapped in the fiery bar.

General Hospital spoilers say there’s much more chaos to come at The Tan-O, so stay tuned.
