General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, June 28, teases that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) empire will be at risk while Austin (Roger Howarth) makes an offer to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also wrestle with a tough decision about her future, so here’s what’s coming up on Monday’s action-packed show.
Nina hasn’t had an opportunity to catch up with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) since she’s been back in town, so she’ll rectify that on Monday’s episode.
Ava will offer updates on the stalker mess she’s been stuck in and how she was forced to push Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) away.
However, Ava may be much more interested in Nina and what she’s been up to in this alluring Nixon Falls. Like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Ava may wonder what’s so special about this sleepy little town.
Nina obviously won’t blurt out that Sonny is alive and has stolen her heart! Of course, Nina could still admit she’s found someone special who’s pulling her back in that direction.
Nina will allude to the complexity of it all and explain that she’s not sure where her home is anymore.
Now that Nina’s in Port Charles again, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will realize she should probably tell her former fake mom that she’s pregnant. Sasha just won’t know how to do that, but her baby bump should speak for itself at this point!
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will listen to Sasha voice her concerns about filling Nina in on her bun in the oven. Naturally, Sasha should be worrying over nothing.
There’s no reason to think Nina will be anything but happy for Sasha since everything that happened is water under the bridge.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will deliver urgent advice. Thanks to that warehouse explosion down by the docks, the Corinthos organization looks weaker than ever.
Brick will push Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to fight back while they still can – or else another attack could be imminent.
It’ll become clear to Jason and Carly that the mob empire Sonny built could topple over if they aren’t careful.
At some point in the coming episodes, Carly and Jason will resolve to get married for the sake of safeguarding the organization. That’ll bring some difficult sacrifices and surprising moments as this storyline moves along.
In the meantime, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will throw a fit and try to push someone right out the door.
Perhaps Lucy won’t be ready for Sasha to see the campaign she’s working on yet – or maybe it’ll be Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) who’s making herself a pest. Either way, Lucy will need somebody to get lost!
Gladys will find Sasha and irritate her on Monday’s episode, so Brando may have to send them to their corners if some clashing goes down. Next, Austin will be interested in something that troubles Scott Baldwin (Kim Shriner).
Scott will find Austin to be a suspicious busybody and may suggest that the mysterious doc should just mosey on back to Pautauk.
As for Anna and Valentin, they’ll have a chance to form their own opinions of Austin. Will Valentin and Anna deem Austin trustworthy? Valentin will wonder what Anna thinks about the guy, but she may have some mixed feelings.
It seems like viewers are supposed to feel the same way since Austin is pleasant enough, but he’s hiding things that could spell trouble. Regardless, Austin will extend an offer of assistance to Anna and Valentin as they search for Maxie’s baby.
Maxie will also lean on Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and appreciate a judgement-free zone. Unlike Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and others around town, Laura probably won’t act like Maxie’s story isn’t adding up.
Laura will just want to be there for Maxie, who’ll be grateful since she’s so stressed out – just not for the reason everyone thinks.
GH spoilers say Maxie will struggle to keep her distance from Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), who’s living at the Quartermaine mansion as “Bailey Quartermaine.”
Maxie will just have to keep telling herself this isn’t forever and hope she can get through this painful separation somehow.
