General Hospital Spoilers Update: Tuesday, June 8 – Shocking Pentonville Discovery – Peter’s Fate Hurts Chase, Finn’s Race for Cure

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 8, teases that a shocking Pentonville discovery will be made while Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) fate hurts Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and leaves Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) racing for the cure.

In Nixon Falls, “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will try to get Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to see things his way.

Nina will address the kiss and perhaps nothing more should happen between them, but Sonny just won’t agree. He’ll think they could be really good together if Nina would just give him a chance.

Nina will seem charmed when Sonny admits to the joy she brings him, but she’ll also know this man is Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) husband! It’s bad enough that Nina’s keeping Sonny away from his wife and children, but stealing Sonny’s heart is at another level.

Back in Port Charles, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will vow to blab about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) secret passion – that is unless Michael can come through for Nina!

Jax will argue that there’s the potential compromise here, but Michael will rant about it being blackmail instead.

Of course, Jax may suggest Michael can call it whatever he wants, but the point is Jax intends to play hardball and score Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) time for Nina.

After Michael surrenders to Jax’s demand, Jax will call Nina and burst what’s left of her “Mike” bubble in Nixon Falls.

The promise of Wiley visits will be too tempting to pass up, so Nina’s headed back to PC pretty soon. Until then, Willow will be disturbed by what goes down in Chase’s room at GH.

Between how deathly ill Chase looks and the romantic surprise he’s cooked up, Willow will struggle to keep playing her part.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will put on a brave face when she crosses paths with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).

However, Ava may see right through the front Trina’s putting up and push her to reveal just how scared she was in the recent hostage situation.

Ava will have an encounter with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as well, so Ava should be pleased over Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) getting shut and taken into custody.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be prepared to send someone a thank you gift – perhaps related to Cyrus’ downfall.

In Pentonville, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will focus on Shawn’s bright future. Shawn has an opportunity to get out of prison and clear his name with Alexis’ help.

The pair’s stunning findings on Tuesday should lead to great strides in making all that happen.

In his hospital room, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will talk to a relieved Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) before other loved ones file back in. Laura will enjoy a sweet conversation with Curtis as they reflect on how happy they both are to be alive.

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will get the feeling that whatever was between Portia and Curtis isn’t ancient history. She’ll corner Portia and quiz her about what her current relationship with Curtis looks like, so some tough questions are on the way.

Over with Finn, he’ll worry that Chase isn’t going to survive. Finn will feel responsible for that since he’s the reason Peter is dead – at least until the writers potentially undo that demise.

In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) won’t want Finn feeling guilty since Peter couldn’t be counted on to save Chase. Finn’s the one who needs to do that – and he needs to do it by finding a real cure that’ll truly last.

GH spoilers say some twists and turns are looming, especially when it comes to the mysteries that are still swirling around Peter. CDL’s your top source for terrific General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so visit us regularly.
