General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, February 24 – Britt Freaks Out on Maxie – Jason’s Bigger Prize – Obrecht’s Secret

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 24, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will gladly bond with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) before facing Hurricane Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

It won’t be long until Carly shows up in Nina’s office and gets updates on the time Nina had with her grandson.

Instead of being happy for Nina and using the kid as a way to reduce friction, Carly will turn Wiley into a weapon against her enemy. Carly will make it clear that Nina had better her cards right or else that visit with Wiley will be her last.

Nina’s bound to rant about Carly taking her daughter and trying to take her grandson, too – albeit in a different way.

It’s good that Carly got off the hook for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Donna Corinthos’ (Ella and Emma Hulen) sake, but Nina will still be hopping mad over what happened at the cliff’s edge.

Nina will maintain that Carly’s the reason Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is dead, but Carly will fire back and defend herself.

Despite Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) best efforts to help, the conflict between Nina and Carly may get even worse.

If Carly indeed tries to keep Nina away from Wiley, it could put both Willow and Michael in a tight spot. It might even lead to new co-parenting territory if Michael and Willow argue about who to side with!

In the meantime, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will have some words of caution for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Robert will talk about how Jason might be taking his eye off an even bigger prize.

Since we know Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will come up during this conversation, Robert may think Peter’s the prize to concentrate on first, not Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Peter and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) double wedding with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is almost here, so Robert will have concerns about the “Paxie” side of things.

Robert will be desperate to stop Maxie from making a horrible mistake, but he’ll feel like there isn’t much left to do at this point.

Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll suddenly offer Maxie a warning – seemingly about something on the table they’re sitting at. Britt will tell Maxie not to do something, so Maxie will look confused as Britt has a bit of a freak-out.

Since Britt brought up the mocktails this place serves, perhaps she’ll be warning pregnant Maxie not to drink a regular cocktail.

One might be delivered that was meant for Britt’s previous conversation partner, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so that could leave Maxie with questions about who was there before.

Maxie will also try to defend her fiancé in Wednesday’s episode, but Britt won’t be fooled by Peter’s act. No matter how much Maxie wants everyone to accept Peter, there are going to be some people like Britt who can only hear alarm bells.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, she’ll hope Peter’s willing to be honest with her for once. Unfortunately, Peter won’t want to give up the life he’s fighting to build with Maxie and their unborn daughter.

Anna will try to pry a full confession out of Peter since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has already spilled all.

Alas, Peter won’t go down without a fight, so it appears he’ll stick to his deception and act like Anna’s been misinformed. General Hospital spoilers say Peter will resort to drastic measures to keep his relationship with Maxie going strong, so look for Peter to go off the rails in the coming episodes.

As for Liesl, she’ll work to locate evidence in Maxie and Peter’s apartment. GH spoilers say Obrecht will be determined to sink Peter with his terrible secrets, but could she stumble across proof of someone else’s secret instead?

Alex Devane Marick’s (Finola Hughes) last will and testament arrived, so it’s on the desk in an envelope – just waiting for Liesl to find it.

That could give Obrecht proof that Peter is Alex’s son instead of Anna’s, but what about all Peter’s crimes?

Liesl needs to prove Peter’s a guilty man, but she may not succeed on that part just yet. It looks like someone will arrive at the apartment and force Liesl to hide until she can sneak out again.

Will Maxie or Peter come hope unexpectedly? What about Robert? It’s easy to imagine Robert going on one final evidence hunt, so it may be Robert who Liesl narrowly avoids bumping into.

Across town, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be given five minutes to deliver an apology and hopefully soften Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) heart.

Alexis will be truly sorry for landing in bed with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and nearly killing Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when she went after Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

Although Alexis’ alcoholism caused her to spiral out of control, she’ll hope she can make amends for some of her mistakes.

Olivia previously suggested there was no chance she’d forgive Alexis, but she may change her mind once Alexis makes her spiel. There’ll still be tension, but Olivia may acknowledge the apology and at least appreciate that she’s getting one.

Perhaps Olivia will admit that forgiveness might be an option at some point, which would be a win in Alexis’ book.

We’ll provide updates as other GH news pops up. General Hospital spoilers say Ned will keep hope alive for his marriage in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to see how things turn out for him. CDL’s your one-stop source for hot General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so check back often.
