General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 21, teases that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will reconnect as he offers guidance. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) wish will also be granted when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) heads to his nightclub – and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will grill Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) about her mystery man.
First on Wednesday’s GH episode, Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) newfound freedom will bring a tense encounter. Old wounds will lead to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) lashing out at Shawn and warning him to stay out of her way.
Over with Michael, he’ll catch up with pregnant Sasha and see how things are going with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Sasha will admit Brando wants to be involved in the baby’s life, but she won’t be so sure that’s what she wants, too.
Brando’s role hinges on whether he’s willing to walk away from the mob entirely and commit to his family’s safety.
Michael will no doubt think Sasha’s more than capable of raising this baby no matter what Brando decides. He’ll deliver some words of wisdom and a pep talk, so Sasha should appreciate that.
When Brando updates Curtis on his problems, he’ll get some solid advice.
Curtis will think Brando needs to be honest about what he wants, even if it means losing what he already has.
Honesty is always a good thing in relationships, particularly in new ones like Brando and Sasha’s.
If they’re going to commit to a real future together, they need to know where things stand before they get in too deep.
Brando will choose Sasha and their unborn child over the mob soon, but that may not solve all their issues ahead of the birth.
We can’t forget that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is around to stir the pot!
In the meantime, Trina will have a decision to make. She promised to keep Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) “Victor” deception a secret, so Ava will put her on the spot when asks about her new guy.
Trina might simply admit that “Victor” turned out to be a liar – even if he’s a cute and charming one. She may leave out Spencer’s name and wonder if Ava thinks this secretive guy still deserves a chance.
Ava is protective of Trina, but she also knows what it’s like to fall for a complicated guy like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She may push Trina to proceed with caution and trust her own instincts when it comes to this lying teen hunk.
Next, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will push Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to follow her heart.
Terry will think it’ll lead Portia right to The Savoy – and it looks like Portia will indeed listen to Terry and what her heart’s telling her.
Both Portia and Curtis are interested in each other romantically, they just have to get on the same page and take this leap of faith.
As for Nikolas, he’ll remain unsettled over Shawn’s release and the possibility that the truth about Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting will come out.
Nikolas will push Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) for as much information as he can get – and he’ll want specifics!
On the Metro Court rooftop, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will hit the pool and get a blast from the past.
Spencer should still be there when Britt arrives, so that’ll let her reunite with an old friend and see what he’s been up to all this time.
Perhaps Spencer and Britt can compare notes on their complex love lives!
Speaking of complex love lives, Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) will be in a worse jam than before thanks to Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) frustration.
Chase will argue that he can’t be Willow’s husband and will almost be ready to throw in the towel on his recovery. Chase won’t have high hopes for walking again and keeping the promises he made about the wedding do-over in the rose garden.
Willow secretly loves Michael and wants to build a life with him, but she’ll have to keep faking it with Chase and keep him focused on getting better.
