General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 22, tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will beg Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to come home with him while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) tries to come up with a new plan. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also confess an ulterior motive, so here’s what GH viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will have a private conversation with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) ahead of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) holiday gathering. “I’m all for that,” Chase says in Wednesday’s preview video.
While Chase and Brook Lynn strengthen their bond, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will reject the idea of bonding with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).
Curtis will make it clear that he has no intention of reconnecting with his father, so Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may have to let it go for the time being.
Over with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), he’ll show up at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) holiday get-together and prepare to be surprised.
Shawn will assume things could get wild since Cassadine chaos erupted at Thanksgiving – and General Hospital spoilers indeed point to some Christmas mayhem now.
Next, Maxie will meet with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to tackle a dilemma. “Let’s think about a way we can finesse this situation,” Maxie suggests in Wednesday’s preview clip.
Liesl may admit to spilling the beans about Nina and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) Nixon Falls romance, which gave Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) ammo to use in court.
Nina will fear the worst if she gets updates on that, but perhaps Maxie will try to come up with a way to make Scott stand down.
Regardless, Scott’s determined to keep Nina out of prison by any means necessary, so a courtroom shocker is inevitable.
Speaking of shockers, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will get one when a new man walks into her life. Marshall will get flirty as he meets Epiphany and volunteers at GH, so love could bloom down the road.
Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will talk to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about what she’s been missing.
Now that Willow’s become part of Corinthos clan, she may confide how much she appreciates gathering for Christmas like this.
Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will miss having Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) around, but they’ll host a holiday bash and try to enjoy it anyway.
That’s certainly what Jason would want, so everyone will try to honor his memory through celebration.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will get a phone call that’s exactly what he wanted to hear, but it could spell trouble if he’s still making secret moves related to Nina or Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).
Sonny made it crystal clear that he wants to handle things on his own, but Michael just can’t help himself.
As for Dante, he’ll corner Sonny and reveal he had an ulterior motive. Dante may come up with some excuse to spend a little extra time with his father since they missed out on so much while Sonny was presumed dead.
Once Sasha is released from the hospital, she’ll feel broken and lost.
Sasha will seemingly just want to be alone while she mourns the loss of Liam Corbin, but Brando will deliver a desperate plea and hope she’ll come home with him instead.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha has some rough days ahead of her, but Brando will try to be a light in the darkness.
