General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, June 23, tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have a boxing flirt fest while Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) go on their first official date.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also step up to protect Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so here’s what GH has in store.
For starters, let’s talk about the sparkly scenes that are coming up for Sasha and Brando. These two hooked up and are starting a family, but they’ve yet to actually go out on a date. Brando will want to change that – and he’ll certainly get no complaints from Sasha.
The more time Brando and Sasha spend together, the more they’ll find that their budding relationship just feels right.
At Pentonville, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will make a shocking discovery – most likely related to the sentencing records Alexis requested from Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
While Alexis and Shawn mull over their findings, Molly will celebrate her five-month anniversary with TJ Ashford (Tajh Belllow).
That’ll lead to Molly and TJ talking about Alexis’ mysterious friend, so they’ll put it together that Shawn must be the one Alexis is helping.
At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will spend some quality family time with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney). “It’s not just an idea. Now I know,” Finn says in Wednesday’s preview video.
No matter what Finn’s getting at, the point is he’ll be bonding with Chase as his brother again. It was hard for Finn since he was already getting used to the idea of Chase being his son, but it won’t take long to settle back into their old brotherly pattern.
As for Brook Lynn, she’ll corner Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to give them a nudge in the right direction.
“You guys need to nip this lie in the bud,” Brook Lynn warns in Wednesday’s preview clip. She’ll feel like she has to speak up for Chase’s sake since he’ll just be more crushed the longer this goes on.
It’d be better to rip the bandage off now and just tell Chase the truth. Chase needs to know his new wife is still in love with Michael – and that Michael’s in love with her, too.
However, Willow and Michael will drag their feet on confessing despite Brook Lynn’s stern push. Brook Lynn will keep the secret for now, but we’ll see if she might change her mind down the road.
Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will find Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and argue that there’s something they need to settle.
This may involve clearing the air about Liz and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) treatment of Jason when they thought he was guilty.
Liz knows how much Jason means to Carly and may want to apologize for adding to the drama – especially since Carly was still in mourning. Since Liz has been mourning as well, this will give her something to bond over with Carly.
They’ll connect over their dead husbands, which is fitting since it looks like this encounter will happen in the cemetery.
At the boxing gym, Britt and Jason will stare at each other dreamily. “I’m not putting it off one more day,” Britt insists in Wednesday’s preview video. She may assure Jason that she intends to live life to the fullest – regardless of what the future holds.
Britt will be following the advice Jason gave her on the run, so that’ll warm his heart and bring some steamy chemistry as they grow closer.
Jason and Britt will don boxing gloves and throw some fun punches, so it’ll be a great way to keep building on their connection. As other news and updates roll in, we’ll keep you in the loop.
