General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, October 13 Recap – Nina Feels Sonny's Forgiveness – Ava Taunts Carly Over ‘Mike’

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 13, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) got some Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) forgiveness hope while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) taunted Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over lingering “Mike.”

In Carly’s office, she talked to Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) about Crimson’s lease being up. Olivia was taken aback when she realized Carly wasn’t using this as a chance for revenge on Nina.

However, Carly suggested she was backing off at Sonny’s request. Olivia still had a feeling that Carly was planning something for Crimson, so Carly said she’d definitely be renewing the lease and keeping a close eye on Nina.

During Carly and Olivia’s chat, Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) brought over something expired from near the coffee pot and alerted Carly. Leo also pointed out a mess in the room, so Olivia was apologetic over her son having no filter.

When it was time to leave, Leo asked if he could have a particular trinket on Carly’s desk. It was a little awkward for Olivia, but Carly gladly handed it over and got a “thank you” from Leo.

At the boxing gym, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wasn’t happy to see Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Austin was more than happy to share the punching bag despite sharing not being the Quartermaines’ thing, but he supposed Jason wasn’t really one of them anyway.

Jason lashed out at first, but he eventually punched the bag while Austin rambled and distracted him. Austin made it clear that he only wanted to get what his father was owed and get a taste of this new life in Port Charles.

Next, Ava and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) discussed her divorce not happening before talk turned to Nina’s need for legal representation.

As Scott explained the latest drama, Nina had a flashback and realized “Mike” was actually Sonny – the man Nina fell for in Nixon Falls.

Afterward, Ava found Carly and hoped they could revisit Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) custody agreement now that Ava wasn’t leaving town.

Carly refused to do it without Sonny present and became suspicious when Ava started talking about how disturbing Nina’s actions were.

Carly said they’d better not find out Ava knew about Nina’s secret, but she suggested she wouldn’t have kept Avery’s father from her. However, Ava couldn’t resist stirring the pot a bit.

When Carly said there was no “Mike,” Ava asked if she was sure. She thought Sonny would carry those experiences from those nine months just like Carly would.

In Nina’s office, Sonny hinted that life wouldn’t be very comfortable for her in Port Charles. Nina wondered if Sonny was threatening her to leave, but that wasn’t the case.

Nina wanted to stay near Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as well as James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) – and she was used to not being comfortable by now.

Plus, Nina already tried reinventing herself elsewhere and that didn’t work out so well. Since Nina intended to stick around, Sonny said they should lay down some ground rules about steering clear of his family.

Sonny also thought it was best if they avoided each other, but he added that he could change the rules if he wanted.

Before Sonny could leave, Nina stopped him and offered Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) watch. She explained why Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) had been hesitant to hand it over, but Nina figured he would want it.

After Nina admitted she never had any claim to Sonny even as “Mike,” he confessed he actually came there because someone pushed him to forgive her.

Nina wondered if Sonny indeed forgave her, so he said not yet – though he couldn’t rule it out.

When Nina mentioned something about Sonny coming back just in time, he remembered walking in on Jason and Carly in the bedroom on their wedding night. Sonny thought Nina was right about timing being everything.

Later, Ava strutted in Nina’s office and confronted her about the double life she’d been living. Meanwhile, Sonny headed to his own office and learned from Jason that his chair was back from storage.

Jason suggested everything was just as it was before, but he could tell Sonny had something on his mind. Sonny then admitted he was thinking about Jason and Carly.

At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was frustrated over not getting any Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) updates from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gave herself a quick pep talk before cornering Britt and bringing up Leo’s potential autism.

It became obvious to Britt that Brook Lynn was trying to get Austin in trouble for a HIPAA violation.

Britt called Brook Lynn out for scheming and assumed she’d want to go before the disciplinary board with a complaint.

Olivia showed up with Leo for his pediatrician appointment and overheard Brook Lynn discussing Austin’s autism assessment. She lashed out at Brook Lynn when she realized this had become all about ELQ and not Leo’s well-being.

Back with Britt, she talked to Scott about Liesl’s abduction. After Scott applied some pressure, Britt agreed to think about asking Jason for help with the investigation.

Britt also called Austin in when he wasn’t scheduled, so he wondered what the problem was. Britt argued Austin himself was the problem before pushing him to come to her office.
