General Hospital Spoilers: Week of April 26 – Danny Visits Jason – Nina's New Life with Sonny – Maxie’s Stillbirth Snag

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 26-30 tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make a confession to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Although Anna may not divulge the poisoning details, she’ll let Maxie know the situation is dire.

Maxie should get updates on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) tightening his grip on Anna, who’ll need Maxie’s help to handle him.

Maxie should agree to the initial visit Peter’s demanding, but what he ultimately wants is a spot in the delivery room. How can Maxie grant that request when she intends to fake Baby Lou’s death?

It might be possible for the baby to be whisked away under the guise of some sudden medical issue after she’s born.

However, that’d go against Maxie’s bogus stillbirth plan and perhaps make it less likely that Peter will believe her. Maxie will have to weigh her options carefully and consider which one will keep her child the safest – even if that means Anna will have to find an alternative strategy.

Of course, there are some other parts of Maxie’s plan that she still needs to nail down. After Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gets wind of the fake death plot for Maxie’s baby, she’ll think they could help each other.

Brook Lynn will hope Maxie’s willing to loan her this little one – and in return, Brook Lynn will promise to take good care of Baby Lou and keep her safe from Peter.

Maxie will have to give this some serious thought, but a deal is indeed cooking up. As for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll do some eavesdropping and find out some valuable information. We’ll see if this leads to Valentin potentially getting the upper hand on Peter.

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will fall more madly in love with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) with each passing moment. Chase will decide his future with Willow is bright, so she’ll battle guilt over setting him up for disappointment.

Since Willow intends to dump Chase when his medical crisis is over, she’ll hate that she’s dragging this out and making it so he’ll be more devastated. At the same time, Willow just won’t be sure Chase’s heart could take getting dumped just yet.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be there to assure Willow she’s doing the right thing, even if it may not feel like it right now.

At Pentonville, General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will tackle a new job that comes with some surprises. GH viewers will see some intriguing discoveries along the way.

Alexis will likely end up giving Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) legal advice eventually, but he might add to his list of problems first.

Shawn is now caught up in Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) plan to spring Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from the slammer, so there are risks for all parties involved.

Jason’s escape is looming, but he’ll get a visit from Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) first. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will set that up and leave Jason assuring his son that everything’s going to be OK.

Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will also visit Jason to confront him over killing Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), but will looking Jason in the eye and hearing his denial change anything? Jason might even explain his Peter suspicions to Cameron and hope he understands this is an elaborate setup.

Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll deceive Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Will Joss lie about something for Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) sake or could this involve Josslyn’s ankle injury? There’s the potential for a pain med problem under the circumstances, so we’ll see how it goes.

As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll avert a crisis by convincing Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that he’s mistaken. After Jax lands in the hospital following a gunshot wound, he’ll be adamant that he saw Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) just before he was whisked away.

Nina will insist that’s crazy talk and will do her best to keep Sonny from crossing paths with Jax again.

Jax will decide Nina’s right – that it’d be impossible for him to have seen presumed dead Sonny walking around. Later, Nina will catch “Mike” off guard, so maybe she’ll kiss him since they almost did that at the firehouse dance.

GH fans will see Nina get desperate as she works to preserve the new life she’s built for herself in Nixon Falls – a life that could include a romantic future with Sonny!
