General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview teases that things are going to really heat up on the ABC soap for the remainder of this week, January 19 to January 22. The new GH preview promo for the week of January 19 is out, and it promises that some big truths will be revealed.
First off, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is shown telling Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that sooner or later, the truth is going to come out.
Of course, Jax is surely referring to the big secret that he and Carly are keeping about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) being Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter.
And now that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is in possession of the other half of Nina’s heart necklace, Carly will realize that it’s only a matter of time before someone notices that!
Well, the preview promo shows a brief scene in which Carly appears to be attempting to steal the half-heart pendant back from Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Carly’s shown with Avery’s doll house at Wyndemere, on a recon mission to get that pendant back.
Unfortunately for Carly, it looks like she’s going to get interrupted as she’s trying to get the pendant from Avery’s things. Cary is shown in the promo turning around from the doll house and looking aghast.
Who will interrupt Carly in the process of her theft? Will it be Ava, or perhaps Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma)? GH viewers will have to tune in to see!
Next, the new General Hospital promo shows Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) telling someone “This ends now.” Ned looks pretty serious, so this surely has to do with the situation that’s unfolding between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
As GH fans know, Olivia has been getting dangerously close to the truth about Ned’s affair with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Well, the promo shows Olivia asking Ned what happened between him and Alexis, and it really sounds like Olivia’s got a good idea of what went down.
It looks like Ned’s going to have to confess to what he did, as he’ll probably be anxious to put an end to all of this dancing around the truth and hiding his indiscretion. That’s going to lead to a major blow up.
Next, the promo shows some still shots of various characters, indicating that they’ll be in on some action this week.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Carly, and Tracy are among those shown in quick succession, and then Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is shown after apparently having learned about Franco’s request for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
“You asked Jason to kill you?” Elizabeth asks incredulously, referring to how Franco urged Jason to take him out if his tumor caused personality changes that led him back to his old ways. Something tells us that Elizabeth isn’t going to be amused about this development at all, so some drama is going to ensue.
Finally, Jason is shown getting his firearm ready for action, although it’s not clear exactly what he’s got in mind.
Jason could be gearing up to deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his men, although we should note that this quick scene is shown right after the Franco/Elizabeth confrontation in the promo, so who knows – Jason could be taking Franco’s request to kill him seriously!
