General Hospital spoilers tease that in the GH preview for the week of June 28 to July 2, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discuss what they must do to keep Port Charles safe, and it’s a big step – it will be to get married!
The Novak Crime Family Has Made Their Intentions Clear
GH viewers will remember that the Novak crime family has made their intentions clear. First, they intercepted a Corinthos Coffee shipment in New Jersey. Now, they’ve blown up the Corinthos Coffee warehouse on Pier 55.
General Hospital viewers can empathize with Carly and Jason; this is kind of when you think you think you are going to make ends meet, only for someone to move the ends.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has just been shuttled off to a federal prison in the Midwest, likely Leavenworth in Kansas. No sooner than Cyrus is no longer a threat, Carly and Jason must deal with one from the Novaks.
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) does some checking with his sources and he verifies that the Novaks want Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) territory.
Now Carly and Jason are in the Corinthos living room, discussing how best to fight against the Novaks and keep another mob war from escalating even more in Port Charles.
They know they must present a united front, even though Carly thought she had Vince Novak’s (Glenn Taranto) approval at the Five Families meeting where she had to step in and take Sonny’s place since Jason was unavailable.
They talk about an idea they have – even though it is extreme. General Hospital viewers know that extreme times call for extreme measures, and they must act quickly or they will lose more than a warehouse, which can be replaced.
Are You Thinking What I’m Thinking?
GH viewers know that Carly had Sonny declared dead long ago, because the Corinthos crime family could not appear weak. Jason had stepped up at that time.
Now, in the living room of the Corinthos compound, Jason talks about the dangerous situation unfolding before them. Jason tells Carly that this is a big step, and if they do take it there is no going back, obviously having a plan in mind.
Jason says that the Novak family will rip this city apart, and the people that he and Carly love will get hurt.
Carly thinks about Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), her ex-husband and the father of their daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Jason thinks about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and how this decision will affect his budding romance with her, but he has to put safety first.
Sonny’s face appears and Jason and Carly have to think what Sonny would say. Carly asks Jason if he is thinking what she is thinking and that is marriage!
Other General Hospital spoilers tease that this decision to marry will affect Carly and Jason’s lives and all the lives of those they love from here on out if they go through with it – but they may feel that have no other choice if they are to present a united front to the Novaks and not appear weak.
