General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of September 13-17 tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will say their wedding vows as mob danger looms. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also ignore Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) call as Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) threat lingers.
In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will try to stop the situation from spiraling out of control any further.
Jax will keep a promise before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a horrifying discovery. This will turn into a scary ordeal, so it certainly sounds like some danger and violence will be involved.
We can’t forget that Peter is still on the loose and may want revenge on Nina for her phony tip. It’s worth mentioning that Jax will reach out to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) or will at least try to.
The problem is Maxie the busy wedding planner just won’t have time to talk and may hang up quickly if she picks up at all!
Later, Nina will find herself anxiously awaiting updates. We’ll see another week’s worth of chaos at The Tan-O, so some big things will have to happen to sustain the drama there.
Back in Port Charles, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will fret over a disturbing phone call.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will hear about that call and will get one of her own down the road, so Peter may decide to mess with both of them.
While Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have a blast at the batting cages, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be busy trying to claw his way to freedom.
Drew will hope he can pull off an escape with Nurse Chloe Jennings’ (Phoebe Kuhlman) help, but the plan’s bound to go awry.
Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will face backlash over the fake identity he used when he first came back to Port Charles.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have a huge problem with the way Spencer manipulated Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) as “Victor,” so she’ll give Spencer an earful.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will continue to fret over missing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while Carly preps for her wedding.
Maxie will do whatever it takes to make sure the nuptials stay on track, but some trouble will soon be afoot!
The heads of the five families will do some last-minute scheming before the ceremony begins.
It’ll be clear that a coordinated plot is looming – one that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) hopes will completely dismantle the Corinthos organization.
Mr. Buscema (Burt Tangredi) and Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) will take the lead on a risky plan, but Carly and Jason will indeed make it through the vow portion of their ceremony.
It’ll be interesting to see if Sonny lurks and perhaps witnesses some of the nuptials following his Port Charles return.
Maurice Benard announced on social media that the real Sonny Corinthos will be back shortly so we can expect some excitement soon
While Jason and Carly look forward to spending the rest of their lives together, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will step up to deal with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) the only way he knows how.
We’ll also see the surprising comeback of an old friend, which will prove to be a game-changer in someone else’s story.
