General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s one character on canvas that could use a family member or two. GH fans know Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) came on the scene to pose as the fake daughter of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but that was just a plot Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) cooked up.
Although Sasha developed a genuine bond with Nina, the family connection between them wasn’t real. Sasha doesn’t have any true family on canvas – at least that fans know of! However, this might be the perfect time to reveal Sasha has an intriguing connection in Port Charles after all.
Not much is known about Sasha’s background, particularly when it comes to her dad. Who is Sasha’s biological father? Could that be a big reveal that’s brewing at some point? There’s been some speculation that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) might be Sasha’s bio dad, which would certainly be a soapy twist.
That’s especially true considering Cyrus used Sasha as his drug guinea pig and nearly killed her! It’s not like Sasha hooked up with Cyrus or anything, so there’s still the potential for father-daughter drama here.
It’d be interesting to see how Cyrus would respond to Sasha if he found out she was his biological child. Since Cyrus cares so much about his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), he might care about his daughter, too.
Of course, there’s another option to mull over – one that would still tie Sasha to the Grey family. What if Sasha is Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) daughter instead? That would make Sasha a niece to Cyrus and could still add to all the family complications.
Whatever the case, Sasha’s father remains a mystery to General Hospital viewers. That leaves the door open for GH writers to give Sasha a bio dad and add to the drama. We’ll see if that’s a route the writing team decides to take down the road, but stick with us for the latest updates and news in the meantime!
