In tonight’s Riverdale episode, Betty and Tabitha talk. It has been 10 nights without any murders. Betty gets a call from a man holding the body of the man she killed. He wants to get rid of it. She tells him she will pay him to hold on longer. Meanwhile, Archie and his buddies are still working in the mines.
Veronica and Chad are at their divorce proceedings. He wants everything and all she wants is Archie, she tells him angry after he asks for a house she bought and paid for.
Tabitha gets a call at the diner. Her friend Squeaky is missing. At the school, Toni talks with a student that is being bullied for being gay. Toni offers her support. Meanwhile, Hiram gives Chad a ghost gun. It’s the only way to get rid of Archie.
Tabitha sits with Jug and Betty at the diner. She needs help finding her friend. That night, Chad tries to kill Archie, shooting at him outside as Archie is headed somewhere. Archie dives for cover and jumps up after a minute hitting him in the face with an object.
Betty and Jug work on their case. Betty gets a call. There has been a new body discovered and it’s been mutilated. It could be her sister.
Veronica meets with Chad. She knows he tried to kill Archie. She gets him to sign the divorce papers. She heads to celebrate with Archie. Betty tells her mom about the body that has been found.
Cheryl and Kevin have a talk about faith. She wants to pray to mother earth. She has clarity. This isn’t what Kevin thinks. This religion thing is getting too “fringy” he tells her. At the diner, Betty watches her mom make a public plea on TV for the killer to stop.
Toni and Fangs talk about her student and how hard it is to come out. Toni doesn’t care what their child decides with their sexuality. Across town, Archie and the guys are in the tunnel when it begins to shake. Archies stays behind to save one of them.
Betty and Jug meet with Jug’s former student. He tells them how he woke up in a shed and believes he was taken by the moth men. Meanwhile, Archie and his friend try to get out of the mines but they are trapped. Veronica learns he is in there. She knows her dad must be involved.
Betty and Jug learn the body is that of Squeaky. They also learn about DNA connected to the case. It appears that the Blossoms may be connected. Veronica hints at her dad and knocks him out. When he comes to she tells him if Archie dies, he dies.
Jug and Betty talk to Nana Blossom. She confesses there is a clan of Blossoms living in the woods. They have moved over the years and probably live along the highway now.
Cheryl goes to the mines and prays to mother earth. Veronica goes home to clean up. Chad breaks into her house. She knows someone is there. She shuts down all of the lights and blasts music. He scrambles around. They fight. She shoots him. Just then Smithers comes in. The phone rings. Archie is out of the mines, alive.
Betty, Jug, Fangs, and Toni meet up. Toni shares that Brita, her student is missing. They think they may know where she is.
Veronica visits her dad. He is lucky Archie is still alive. Meanwhile, Jug and Betty walk through the woods. Jug visits a cabin. He knows who lives there. An older man told him about the moth men. Jug tells the man what he thinks he knows. The man humors him.
While they talk, Fangs and Toni find Brita. She is locked in a shed. Suddenly they are under attack by what appear to be the moth men. Betty comes out of the woods shooting. They take the moth men out. Betty runs to find Jug. He is with the man who tries to bite his own tongue off so he cannot talk. They stop him.
Betty questions the man. He shares that her sister is in the junkyard. He draws them a map. Betty and Alice go to find her. She is dead in the trunk of a car. They cry hysterically.
