The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan White) will conduct a very thorough investigation, which could mean revisiting theories if need be.
Baker will take a closer look at the people in Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) life as he tries to figure out who mowed the victim down that night.
B&B fans know Thomas was stunned when Deputy Chief Baker implied that he might’ve had something to do with Vinny’s death. Baker pointed out that Thomas would’ve had a motive due to Vinny’s paternity test tampering betrayal.
However, Thomas insisted that Vinny had a good heart and was simply misguided in how he tried to help his buddy. Although Thomas didn’t always approve of Vinny’s behavior, he loved his friend and is clearly quite broken up over his death.
Of course, previous Bold and the Beautiful spoilers were a bit misleading since the show insisted Thomas would be the primary suspect early on.
That didn’t turn out to be the case since Baker insisted he was just gathering information and actually seemed to believe Thomas by the time he left the Forrester office.
Even so, Thomas could indeed become a true suspect as this storyline moves along. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will rush to Thomas’ defense during the week of May 3-7.
That could seemingly mean one of two things. The first option is that Thomas’ quest for justice bothers Baker, who might feel like Ridge’s son could interfere in the real police work.
That could leave Ridge defending Thomas as a guy who’s grieving and is just looking for closure somehow. Ridge may think Baker needs to worry more about finding the culprit and less about Thomas’ way of mourning.
Nevertheless, it’s also possible new evidence will surface that points in Thomas’ direction. There’s no doubt that it’d be a great story for Thomas to find himself on the hook for Vinny’s murder – all while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) battles guilt and has to decide how to proceed.
What if it’s a desperate Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) who ends up trying to frame Thomas? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will make some drastic moves to protect his family during May sweeps.
B&B writers have had both Bill and Thomas make some pretty scathing comments about each other in the dialogue lately. That might’ve been in preparation for this phase of the storyline.
Bill might decide he needs a scapegoat to throw the cops off the trail. There might be some way for Bill to swing suspicion in Thomas’ direction and take the heat off Liam.
Bill might view it as taking care of two problems at once since Thomas can’t grow closer to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) if he’s in prison!
That’s where Bill thinks Thomas belongs anyway, so he wouldn’t have a problem with Thomas going down for this. Liam, on the other hand, would become much harder to keep quiet.
