The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) biological father remains a mystery, so could Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) be Finn’s bio dad? Will the doc discover Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is his half-sister? Let’s consider what we know so far.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) are Finn’s adoptive parents, so that means the show could explore who his biological parents are at some point.
It’ll eventually be revealed that Finn indeed has questions about where he comes from. Part of Finn will wonder if he’d feel more complete if he had answers about the family he’s related to by blood.
With that in mind, we might as well start speculating on who Finn’s father might be.
Deacon Sharpe might be an interesting option, especially since it’d allow Finn and Hope to form a bond as siblings.
B&B fans know Hope and Finn have shared some nice scenes, but there was never a sense of romantic chemistry or any kind of temptation.
Finn offered Hope advice about love and forgiveness in the aftermath of the cheating scandal, so it almost felt like a brother-sister scenario.
It’d be easy to buy Hope and Finn as siblings if that’s the direction the show decides to go in.
This would also be great news for fans worried about the potential for another Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) love triangle down the road.
Steffy and Hope were locked in a battle for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for years, so many viewers got sick of the constant back and forth.
Does anyone really want to watch Hope and Steffy get locked in a battle for Finn next?
t’d take that story option off the table entirely if Finn’s revealed as Hope’s half-brother.
Most of us would much rather see Hope and Finn connect as siblings than as lovers, so this would be a positive story development all around.
This could also pave the way for Deacon to get out of prison and become part of the action again.
