The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that tensions will rise as Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finally heads to the hospital for a paternity test.
As B&B viewers know, there will be a lot riding on this test, and it’s going to be a very big deal for Steffy, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Right now, everyone’s hoping that the father is Finn. That’s certainly what Steffy and Finn want, and Liam and Hope’s reunion is pretty much riding on the baby not being Liam’s at this point.
B&B spoilers are also pretty clear that Hope’s mom Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be wanting Hope and Liam’s path back together to be easy and uncomplicated.
Well, this all sounds like a big setup for someone to change the paternity test results if indeed the baby turns out to be Liam’s.
We should note that right now, the baby’s paternity could go either way, but given the strong desire that several characters will have to make that baby Finn’s and not Liam’s, there’s probably a strong possibility that someone could tamper with the test results.
So, let’s explore what might happen if the paternity test comes back saying that Liam is the father. Multiple characters could want to alter the test results, including Steffy, Finn, Hope, Liam, Brooke, and others.
But we should note that someone will be returning to canvas the same week that Steffy will get her paternity results back, and that’s Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones).
According to B&B spoilers, Bridget will return to Los Angeles to spend some time with her family during the week of February 8-12. That means that Bridget will get the full scoop about what’s going on with her little sister Hope.
Hope may even tell Bridget that she doesn’t know if she can ever make things work with Liam if he’s the father of Steffy’s baby.
That could send Bridget right to the hospital to check on those test results ahead of Steffy getting the results. And since Bridget is a doctor, she’d certainly know just how to access the medical files and alter the results if indeed Liam is deemed the father by the test.
Bridget could work her magic and change the results so that it looks like Finn’s the father.
We’ll see how it all plays out. There could be several unforeseen twists and turns in this story, but we’d say that if anyone does alter the test results, Bridget could be a prime candidate!
If the test shows that Liam’s the dad, then Bridget would certainly have motive to change the results, that’s for sure.
