The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, December 3, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) kicked Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) off the property as he warned her to pack up her family and leave. Let’s discuss all Friday’s B&B shockers and the big reactions they brought.
At the cabin, Hope refused to budge when it came to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), but Ridge didn’t want that conman around Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) or in his home. If Hope insisted on having Deacon in her life, Ridge pointed out there were plenty of other places for her to live.
A stunned Hope wondered if Ridge was asking her to move off her mother’s property. Ridge insisted he couldn’t look beyond the pain of the past and reiterated that Hope would have to bond with Deacon elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Deacon tried to remind Brooke of how good they were together once upon a time. Brooke was adamant about that being a betrayal, but she was willing to support Deacon bonding with Hope since that’s what their daughter wanted.
Brooke also thought Ridge needed to come around on the reality of the situation since that meant Deacon would be part of the picture for all of them. She assured Deacon he was welcome there, so he was tickled pink.
However, Brooke didn’t want Deacon to blow this by associating with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) or with hidden agendas. Deacon just wanted Brooke’s happiness and didn’t approve of how Ridge had gone back and forth with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) over the years, but Brooke insisted that was all in the past.
After Deacon alluded to moving beyond his bad boy ways, he hinted that Brooke liked that side of him. Deacon brought up their unparalleled passion and got distracted thinking about all the steaminess, but he eventually told Brooke he wouldn’t let her down.
Brooke just wanted to be sure Deacon wouldn’t let Hope down and sent him on his way, but she looked pensive once he was gone. Back at the cabin, Hope asked if Ridge had brought this up with her mom. Ridge said he would, but that he wanted to tell Hope first and added she was the one who initially mentioned moving out.
Hope thought that was very different from being ordered to leave. As Deacon approached the door and eavesdropped, Hope suggested she was being told that she wasn’t welcome there and neither were her children or husband. Ridge argued that they were welcome, but Deacon wasn’t. He felt this was affecting his marriage, so this was critical to him.
Ridge knew this wouldn’t be easy, but he offered help and was certain Brooke would help, too. When Hope hinted about what Ridge was asking, he fired back that he wasn’t asking. Ridge was telling Hope that if she wanted to be with her dad, it wouldn’t be there.
After Ridge warned Hope to grab her kids, husband and stuff, he pushed her to move on. Deacon looked unsettled as he continued listening outside the door.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) talked to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) about how John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was holding up after the recent bio dad bomb from Jack Finnegan (Ted King). After Steffy acknowledged how manipulative Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was, she suggested Finn knew his birth mother couldn’t be trusted.
In Finn’s office, he warned that Sheila couldn’t be there and didn’t want her worrying about him. However, Sheila had to worry since Finn was her son and wanted to reach out now that he knew the truth about his father. She explained that she thought Jack should be the one to come clean, so Finn was grateful that Sheila convinced him.
Sheila mentioned Hope letting Deacon into her life and wanted an opportunity to do the same with Finn. Although Finn felt this wasn’t the same thing, Sheila remained hopeful and hinted about Brooke being receptive to Deacon, too.
