The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) may allow Grandpa Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) secret Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) visit. Will Liam go ballistic over Deacon meeting his granddaughter for the first time?
B&B fans know Deacon is really pushing to see Beth – and Hope’s heart has been quite affected by some of the powerful speeches he’s made.
Although Liam, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are pushing Hope to shut Deacon out, she just doesn’t see how she can do that.
Hope believes people can change, especially since she’s seen such positive improvements in Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Liam feels like Deacon is taking advantage of Hope’s capacity to forgive, but she doesn’t think it’s fair to deny him an opportunity to prove himself.
Hope’s already leaning toward letting Deacon have a place in her life, so he’s only going to make more progress over time.
Once Hope feels certain that Deacon is a changed man and not a threat to Beth, she may agree to let him see her.
Of course, that’ll mean going against Liam’s wishes since that’s not what he wants at all. Still, it’s easy to imagine a situation where Deacon puts Hope on the spot.
At some point, Deacon might drop by the cabin and realize Beth’s in the other room. Liam may not be around to weigh in, so Hope may relent and let the visit happen without Liam’s approval.
That could leave us with a scenario similar to the one that played out with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was furious when she came home and realized John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) let Sheila hold Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot).
Maybe Liam will walk in on Deacon and Beth’s story time or something along those lines. Even if Hope just comes clean in the aftermath, the show seems likely to play up the same forbidden visit angle.
Liam told Deacon “absolutely not” when Grandpa pushed to see Beth, so his stance is crystal clear.
If Hope allows Deacon to see Beth anyway, it’s going to cause major conflict in her marriage to Liam.
