The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been through a lot in the past couple weeks. As B&B viewers know, Hope was utterly devastated when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) revealed that he slept with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and that Steffy was possibly pregnant with his child.
Well, now Hope is reeling from the possibilities that are swirling around in her head. There could be another “Steam” baby on the way, and that would connect Liam to Steffy in a very big way that will forever change all of their lives.
Then there’s all the angst that Hope feels over the fact that Liam cheated in the first place – it’s a lot for her to deal with all at once.
One thing seems pretty certain, and that’s that if Liam is declared to be the father of Steffy’s baby, Hope’s world is going to come crashing down. B&B viewers will remember that Hope deals with stress and grief in a very dramatic way.
Back when Hope thought that Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) was dead, she understandably went through a terrible depression.
If the paternity test determines that Liam is the father of Steffy’s baby, then we might see Hope once again go into a deep depression. Hope might fear that her family with Liam will suffer and just won’t be the same going forward, and she could face some seriously dark times.
Long-time B&B viewers will remember that Hope battled problems with pills in the past – back when the character was played by Kim Matula. And since Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) will soon be back in action on B&B, one wonders if Hope might get some “help” with coping from him.
Viewers will remember that the last time Vinny was shown on screen, he dropped a bottle of illegal pills.
That seemed to be done for a purpose, so maybe Vinny will offer Hope some of the pills to help her as she copes with her new reality. It would be a seriously sad situation for Hope, but we know that Vinny has a tendency to push pills on people, as he did recently with Steffy.
Whatever happens, it seems pretty clear that Hope’s going to have a very difficult time if Liam is declared to be the father of Steffy’s baby. Do you think Hope would turn to pills to cope with her resulting depression?
