The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) needs to man up and make his own decisions. Liam’s letting Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) back him into a corner, but he won’t be able to blame Daddy when it all goes wrong!
B&B fans know Liam wants to do the right thing and go to the authorities, but Bill’s adamant that he can’t. Of course, we have to point out Liam is an adult and fully capable of marching down to the police station without Bill’s permission.
Liam could shut Bill’s plan down and tell the cops everything – including the fact that Bill drove away while he was passed out.
Bill doesn’t think the cops would believe this was an accident, but how would Liam know Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) would be out on some random dark road? Why would this really look like premeditated murder?
Bill’s reasoning doesn’t make sense, so Liam needs to take charge of his own fate instead of letting Bill run the show. Although Bill thinks he’s preserving Liam’s future with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and his kids, he may be ruining everything instead. What happens when the truth inevitably comes out?
Liam’s going to look a heck of a lot guiltier due to the cover-up. Even if the cops buy that Liam hit Vinny by mistake, he left the scene of a crime and will presumably keep quiet for weeks. Evidence was destroyed, but Liam’s going to keep his mouth shut.
Whining about how Bill made him do it isn’t going to work! Liam is a grown man and has to be responsible for his own choices. On a personal level, Liam’s also going to hurt Hope with a mountain of lies. Hope will watch Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) grieve the loss of Vinny while Liam keeps quiet.
All of this could cost Liam in so many ways when his role in the hit-and-run accident is exposed. There’s going to be more to the story based on Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, but none of that changes what we’ve seen so far and will see in the weeks ahead.
Liam is guilty of covering up a crime and will deceive Hope as well as Thomas about it. Will Liam land in prison as a result of his actions? This cover-up is meant to keep Liam a free man, so it’d be a real twist if it took Liam’s freedom instead.
Bill wants to protect Liam’s family, but the secret could blow up and push Hope right into Thomas’ arms. If Liam is out of the picture due to a prison stint, Hope and Thomas could easily move on together. Thomas might slide in Liam’s old spot and end up raising his family for him!
