The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) bizarre apology could send Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) straight to Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) door.
B&B fans know Liam has already been a mess of emotions due to his terrible guilt. Liam finds a few moments of peace here and there with his family, but that doesn’t erase what happened that night on the road.
Ever since Liam accidentally ran down Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero), he’s been walking around with an unbearable burden. Liam has fought with Bill plenty of times over whether he should come clean to the cops, but Bill’s always been quick to shut down any confession plans.
However, Liam will struggle as his guilt continues to grow. He’ll be a truly tortured soul, so it’ll feel like Liam’s going to burst if he doesn’t do something. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will have some apologetic updates for Thomas, which could ultimately steer Thomas in Bill’s direction.
Since Liam will be in agony over his regrets, he’ll feel like he has to get them off his chest – at least in some way. Liam will decide to apologize to Thomas, but his words will seem weird and out of place.
Thomas will no doubt wonder what Liam’s even talking about at first, but the wrong puzzle pieces could click into place soon after.
What exactly will Liam tell Thomas in this odd apology of his? If Liam gets too emotional over Vinny, that alone will be a huge tipoff to trouble. It’d be fine for Liam to feel bad for Thomas under normal circumstances, but any major display of grief or remorse is going to raise red flags.
There’ll indeed be some remorse involved since B&B spoilers confirm this is an apology to Thomas. It’s safe to say Thomas will battle confusion over why Liam would feel the need to apologize, especially if Liam acts like he’s personally sorry for Vinny’s death.
This could easily get the wheels turning for Thomas, who might decide that Liam wouldn’t intentionally mow Vinny down – but Bill might. Thomas may mull over Liam’s apology and decide he must feel guilty over what vengeful Bill did on his behalf.
In other words, Liam’s efforts to clear his conscience could backfire spectacularly and lead to bad news. We know Liam will make this bizarre apology on May 19 – and Thomas will show up to see Bill the very next day.
