The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may ask Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to be her matron of honor. This wedding request may serve as a way to officially put Hope and Steffy’s old rivalry to rest!
During the week of August 2-6, B&B spoilers say Steffy will ask Hope an important question. As Steffy plans her upcoming nuptials, she’ll count on Hope to play a crucial role.
Steffy and Hope have certainly had their fair share of ups and downs in their complex relationship. They spent years locked in a war for Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) heart, but now Steffy’s moved on with a new man and has made peace with “Lope.”
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has shown Steffy a new level of devotion, so she’s all in on a future with him. Now that Steffy’s put Liam in the rearview mirror romantically, she’s on far more friendly terms with Hope.
These two came together in concern for their children during Liam’s prison nightmare, so the show’s already been showing the shift in Hope and Steffy’s relationship.
Steffy’s betrayal with Liam isn’t something Hope wants to dwell on anymore, especially now that Liam’s free.
All Hope wants to do is focus on the future – and that’s what Steffy wants, too. With that in mind, Steffy will make that special wedding request we mentioned.
Hope should be taken aback by what Steffy asks of her, but she’ll gladly step up and show her support.
Steffy’s happiness with Finn is certainly something Hope’s on board with, particularly since it preserves Hope’s own happiness with Liam.
It’s possible Hope could officiate since we know Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) won’t be at the ceremony, but it makes more sense for Hope to serve as the matron of honor.
This feels like a great way for Hope and Steffy to bury the hatchet and leave their Liam love triangle in the past. Will Hope stand up for Steffy on her wedding day?
Steffy and Finn are indeed set to tie the knot, but some trouble could be on the horizon thanks to Finn’s parents and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
