The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may cozy up to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is in jail. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) could easily warn Thomas to back off if she feels like Hope’s ex is headed into obsessive territory once again.
Brooke has never completely bought Thomas’ new-and-improved act. Although Brooke recognizes that Thomas has taken steps to become a better father, the fact that Thomas is still in love with Hope troubles her.
Brooke doesn’t believe Thomas has been able to shake his fixation on Hope and will never truly trust him as a result.
Of course, Brooke’s going to battle even more trust issues after Liam confesses to being behind the hit-and-run accident. B&B spoilers say Liam will be placed under arrest, so that could give Thomas a chance to be the one Hope leans on.
Thomas surely won’t be happy with Liam for mowing Vinny down and hiding it, but Hope might convince Thomas that most of the blame should fall on Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Thomas hates Bill’s guts and just had a confrontation with him where Bill showed a total lack of remorse. Liam, on the other hand, has been deeply sorry and will only be sorrier once the truth comes out.
Regardless of how Thomas feels about Liam in the aftermath of his arrest, he may sense that Hope needs him. Perhaps Thomas and Hope can find some common ground in their hatred of Bill.
Naturally, Thomas could also step up for the kids during this difficult time. He’s always vowed to be there for Hope no matter what, so this is Thomas’ opportunity to keep that promise.
Brooke may fear that Hope’s going to be emotionally vulnerable and could become Thomas’ prey again. There’s a good chance Brooke will voice her concerns to both Hope and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Thomas will likely get a warning straight to his face as well. Brooke is never shy about speaking her mind when it comes to protecting her daughter!
