The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may turn against Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) over her killer Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) support. Whatever love spell Thomas is under may be broken over a Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) justice dispute!
Thomas was previously obsessed with Hope, but he’s been doing better lately. He’s no longer the kind of man who would sink to the lowest of lows and scheme to unthinkable levels. Thomas is willing to accept that Hope wants to be with Liam and respect boundaries.
That said, Thomas still loves Hope and has admitted he’d be with her if he could. He’d be over the moon if Hope came to him looking for a future together, but he can deal with the fact that Hope wants one with Liam instead.
However, Thomas’ view of the situation may change completely once the truth about Vinny’s hit-and-run comes out. We’ve heard Thomas repeatedly talk about how much he wants the monster who mowed Vinny down to pay.
Liam has deceived Thomas about the night Vinny died, so Thomas is sure to be disgusted once he learns the real story.
Of course, it could take some time before Thomas is brought in the loop. There’s the potential for Bill to step up and try taking the blame with the cops, so that could delay the inevitable.
Regardless, Thomas will find out Liam is the one who ran over Vinny eventually. Once that happens, Thomas may be upset to learn Hope’s standing by Liam. It might feel like a betrayal to Thomas since Hope knows how much Vinny mattered to him.
Thomas may struggle to believe it was an accident rather than a cold and vengeful act. He’ll face a flood of difficult emotions and probably be able to look at the situation logically.
Since Hope will leave Thomas in the dark on Liam being the driver for a bit, that’s something else that’ll shake Thomas’ faith in her. Thomas will have some good reasons to turn against Hope if that’s how B&B writers want to play this.
Hope’s always been someone who could basically do no wrong in Thomas’ eyes, but perhaps that’s about to change! Will Thomas’ loyalty to Vinny win out – at least for a while?
Hope’s support of Liam is bound to bring drama, so this could at least give Hope and Thomas some issues to work through.
