The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, August 12 Recap – Sheila’s Creepy Warning – Steffy Wants Finn’s Painful Promise

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 12, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) offered a creepy warning of the trouble to come – and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanted John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) painful promise.

In the Forrester mansion living room, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) warned Sheila not to even think about slapping Steffy back.

Sheila quipped that she hadn’t planned on it and reiterated that she was Finn’s mother, but Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) declared that Sheila gave him up.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) insisted that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) were Finn’s parents.

Steffy agreed that Sheila wasn’t her mother-in-law and definitely wasn’t Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s grandmother.

“You are poison, Sheila. You are nothing to us,” Brooke said on Thursday’s B&B episode.

Sheila insisted she only wanted a private moment with Finn on his wedding day, but Brooke felt like Sheila was obsessing over Finn and his family. Brooke made it clear that Sheila would never get near Hayes.

Steffy still doubted that Sheila was even Finn’s birth mother since she was a liar and a master manipulator. “This woman is a monster!” Steffy told Finn.

Steffy argued that Sheila was a liability who couldn’t be in their lives.

Birth mother or not, Eric insisted that Sheila couldn’t be there. Ridge agreed it was time for Sheila to go – and he warned she wasn’t coming back.

Sheila thought she deserved to have her explanation for things heard, but Brooke ranted that she deserved nothing.

Nevertheless, Sheila didn’t think it was a crime to want to wish her son well on the day of his nuptials. Eric and Ridge disagreed since Sheila was trespassing.

Sheila thought it was clear that none of them wanted to move on from the past, so Steffy was appalled over her playing the victim.

Sheila denied doing that and insisted she’d never do anything to hurt Finn. This horrible walk down memory lane wasn’t what Sheila had in mind.

Brooke felt like if Sheila really wanted what was best for Finn, she would’ve stayed away and let him keep living his life. Jack argued that he’d spent his life protecting Finn, but Sheila scoffed.

After Steffy shouted at Sheila to go, Sheila said she knew she’d be attacked and tried to warn Finn. Although Finn was apologetic about the situation, Eric insisted that no one blamed him.

Li piped up to tell Sheila to stay away, but Sheila had one more thing to say to the bride and groom before she left.

Sheila said to tell his grandson that she loved him and that his grandmother would always be thinking of him.

It sounded a lot like a threat! Brooke lunged forward like she was going to attack, but Eric held her back while Ridge led Sheila out the door.

Once Sheila was gone, everyone tried to calm down and focus on the newlyweds. Jack talked about all the ways that Li was Finn’s mother, but she remained livid with him for keeping Sheila’s contact with him a secret.

Jack assured Steffy that she married an exceptional man and hoped she wouldn’t let what happened today cloud her judgment.

Finn told Steffy that he loved her and their son. He begged Steffy to tell him this wouldn’t change anything between them, so she once again sought confirmation that Finn had been completely in the dark on Sheila.

Steffy believed Finn, but she warned that Sheila was evil and vicious. She wanted Finn to promise that he’d never see Sheila again – not ever. “I won’t let her tear us apart,” Steffy said.

Finn simply told Steffy that he loved her again and pulled her into a hug. Meanwhile, Sheila lurked outside in the dark. She wondered aloud if Steffy really thought she’d turn her back on Finn and Hayes.

“Do you really think you’ve seen the end of me?” Sheila asked as she grinned in the direction of the Forrester mansion and let out an evil laugh.

At the cabin, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) reflected on the insanity of what had just gone down with Sheila.

Hope couldn’t think of anyone worse to be Steffy’s mother-in-law, but they agreed Li was Finn’s mother in every sense of the word.

Liam suggested he only knew a fraction of the stories about Sheila, but he acknowledged that Sheila shot Brooke and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). Hope mentioned Sheila had been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years.

Hope added that Sheila had other kids out there – that Finn wasn’t the only child she’d given birth to.

Liam didn’t know how Sheila was even free at this point and assured a worried Hope that they wouldn’t let Sheila near any of the kids.

Since Liam didn’t get to dance with Hope at the reception, he pulled her into one as they reflected on how grateful they were for their relationship.

Hope thought today was a reminder of how quickly life can change. “Poor Finn. Poor Hayes,” Hope said.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will dig a deeper hole for himself by keeping some Sheila secrets in the coming weeks.
