The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, December 23, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will lose a Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) battle while Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) marriage gets a boost. Here’s what B&B fans can expect as the holidays arrive on the CBS soap.
Steffy will remain irritated over Sheila reaching out to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) via text. She’ll vent to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) about Finn’s birth mother and how it just never ends with this woman!
Steffy will feel like Sheila should get the hint and take a hike, but Taylor will have a different view of the situation. Despite Taylor’s horrific history with Sheila, she’ll let the Christmas spirit move her.
Taylor will encourage the idea of Finn spending the holiday with his biological mom, so Steffy will be thrown for a loop.
Steffy will feel like Taylor surely can’t be serious. She’ll run down the list of Sheila’s transgressions and remind Taylor of just how dangerous this threat is. However, Taylor may point out that they’ll have a full house to supervise Sheila.
Taylor will think Sheila genuinely wants to hang out with Finn and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) for Christmas, so she won’t think Sheila will do anything to jeopardize this opportunity.
Finn could eventually resent Steffy if she keeps standing in the way, so it’s wise to cave a little.
The bond between a parent and child can be a powerful thing, so Taylor will push hard to formally invite Sheila to their Christmas party.
Steffy will put up a fight, but Taylor is the therapist in the family and the one who’s been hurt most by Sheila. If Taylor can tolerate Sheila for the night, then Steffy can do the same.
Taylor will no doubt promise to watch Sheila closely and figure out if her motives are truly pure when it comes to her son.
As for Liam, he’ll continue to have questions about Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) agenda and probably won’t resolve his trust issues anytime soon.
Even so, Liam values his relationship with Hope and doesn’t want to mess things up. He’ll make a sweet gesture by coming together with Hope for some holiday alone time and putting any dad drama aside.
Hope will appreciate getting that gift from Liam, so there’ll be some warm marriage moments for these two.
Once Hope and Liam are done, it’ll be time for Hope to prepare for another Christmas celebration – and private one she’ll soon have with Deacon at the cabin.
Deacon may be bummed about getting snubbed when it comes to the gathering at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house, but that’s just how it has to be this year!
