The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, December 9, teases that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) secret trip home will be underway while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) faces a new destiny. B&B fans can expect more relationship drama for Ridge as the show gears up for Taylor’s comeback, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) can’t help but feel like Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) stole Ridge away from their family.
It’s something Steffy in particular has never really been able to get past.
Steffy was previously willing to tolerate Ridge and Brooke’s marriage, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s causing her dad too much distress.
That’s why Steffy wants Ridge to see the light when it comes to the turmoil Brooke causes. Of course, Steffy’s also hoping Ridge can see Taylor with fresh eyes.
On Thursday’s episode, Steffy will reflect on how happy Taylor used to make Ridge. She’ll offer some examples of positive memories and try to reinforce the idea that things were better for “Tridge” than for “Bridge.”
Thomas will talk about the past as well, so it won’t be long until Ridge gets choked up.
Ridge has always talked about Brooke being his destiny, but Steffy and Thomas will think maybe his future actually lies with Taylor.
They’ll think their mom is at least worth considering as an option and will wish they could all get together as family more often.
What Ridge, Steffy and Thomas don’t realize is that Taylor’s already on her way back to Los Angeles.
Taylor wanted to come home and surprise everyone, so she should be on her flight and perhaps headed in a car from the airport.
Although viewers may not actually see Taylor until Friday’s show, just know she’ll be sneaking over to see her loved ones.
That may happen offscreen on Thursday, but it’s important to know Taylor will be en route while all this is playing out.
As for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), they’ll force Brooke into a rather tricky situation.
Brooke will feel obligated to offer a quick verdict on something related to Deacon, so that could involve a pitch for family bonding that includes Brooke herself.
Deacon could still use a place to stay, so it’s even possible Hope will try to arrange that for him. Hope would probably be willing to live with Liam and the kids at the main house for a while, which would give Deacon the cabin.
There’s no guarantee Brooke would agree, but it’s obvious Hope and Deacon are going to push the limit of what they’ve been asking for somehow.
Regardless of Hope’s exact request, Brooke will try to please Hope without driving Ridge away completely. That won’t be an easy task since Ridge isn’t willing to budge an inch!
