The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 22, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) had a jail outburst and confronted reckless Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Meanwhile, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) attacked Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to keep him quiet, so let’s discuss what went down on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) sniffed Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton jacket and draped it over herself as she sat on the sofa. Hope was clearly missing Liam, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) broke her out of the trance.
Steffy wanted to talk about what Liam and Bill did, but Hope kept all the blame on Bill for the cover-up.
Steffy felt it was so ironic that Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) – the person who had turned all their lives upside down with the paternity test tampering – was the person Liam ran down.
Talk turned to the kids and how neither of the women wanted to explain why Daddy was going away for a very long time.
Hope wanted to remain hopeful about Liam’s name being cleared. She suggested teaming up with Steffy to keep Liam focused on positivity, so Steffy agreed they had to come together as a family.
Hope ranted about Bill making a mess, but Steffy felt that the truth was the one thing working in their favor. Hope suggested that there had to be a way to prove Liam’s innocence.
In lockup, Bill was pleasantly surprised to see that Katie had come to visit him. Katie couldn’t believe she was visiting Bill in jail and lashed out over Bill turning an accident into a crime scene.
She added that Will Spencer (Finnegan George) could lose both his father and brother as her temper flared, but she ultimately settled down.
Katie talked about how angry and confused Will was, though he was trying to stay strong for his mom. It frustrated Katie since Bill was so focused on Liam that he forgot his other sons.
Katie wished Bill had considered how protecting Liam would affect their family – including Katie.
Bill was sorry, but he admitted he wouldn’t have done anything differently if he’d had more time to think things through. Bill maintained that he had to protect Liam – just as he would protect Katie or his other sons.
Katie understood how Bill operated, but she didn’t get how he planned to make things right from a prison cell.
Bill argued that he had total faith in Justin, who had never left him down before. Bill didn’t think Justin was going to let him down now either.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas replayed the video again as he processed the fact that Vinny committed suicide and wanted Liam to hit him. “What the hell, Vinny?” Thomas said to himself.
He contemplated Vinny’s video and his buddy’s words about Thomas having the family with Hope he deserved.
Thomas looked at the delete button briefly as if he might erase the video, but he eventually declared that the truth had to come out. Before Thomas could leave to tell anyone else, Justin appeared.
Justin was there to ask Thomas questions about Vinny the low-life drug dealer, but Thomas argued he was a lot more than that.
Nevertheless, Justin countered that he was trying to get his clients out of jail. When Thomas said they’d be out a lot sooner than Justin thought, Justin wondered what that meant.
Thomas ultimately admitted that the act was deliberate, but not on Liam’s part. He revealed that Vinny committed suicide by stepping in front of the car and framing Liam for murder.
Thomas explained that it was another misguided attempt by Vinny, who was trying to push Thomas and Hope back together. He added that the proof came from Vinny himself since the previously blocked messages just came through.
Thomas assured Justin that all the evidence was right there on his phone, which meant Liam and Bill could get out of jail.
“It’s a game-changer all right,” Justin said. Thomas was about to leave when Justin got his attention again and knocked him unconscious through a serious punch! We’ll offer updates as other B&B news rolls in.
