The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 16, reveal that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) offered to leave Eric Forrester (John McCook) and wept over her his shocking response. Let’s discuss what happened on Tuesday’s gripping B&B episode.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn came in and found Eric deep in thought. Eric admitted he was thinking about the two of them, so Quinn said she’d been thinking about the two of them, too.
Quinn insisted they’d lost their way and needed to find their way back, so Eric asked if Quinn meant together. After Quinn said that was indeed what she wanted, Eric felt it was important to keep checking in with each other.
They agreed that communication was crucial before Quinn said she couldn’t live without Eric. She assured Eric that she loved him from the depth of her soul.
Quinn felt Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) had crossed the line, but she also felt she had to take some of the blame. She wanted to understand how Eric could get excited by Donna and not his own wife.
Quinn thought that was the key to repairing their marriage and making it whole again – assuming that’s what Eric wanted.
After Quinn talked about taking everything for granted and messing up the greatest gift of her life, she said she didn’t want to be that woman anymore. Quinn was yearning for dignity and stability, which she felt Eric deserved.
“I want to make you happy again, Eric. I want to put a smile back on your face,” Quinn said. She offered to leave if Eric wanted her to, but she insisted she’d rather stay and work on their relationship.
Quinn hoped Eric knew he was her priority, but he remained silent and looked uncomfortable.
Quinn told Eric it was OK – that he didn’t have to say anything. She assumed this was the end of the road, but Eric began playing It Had to Be You on the piano. Quinn cried as Eric finished the song with her help on some of the high notes.
Eric then assured Quinn that she was his wife and this was where she belonged. Quinn seemed overcome with emotion as she kissed Eric passionately.
At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he might take matters into his own hands to find his birth father.
Finn said he might not even do anything if he found the name, but he wanted to have some control over the situation.
Finn insisted Jack Finnegan (Ted King) was his father in every way that counted and hated the idea of hurting him by pursuing this.
Steffy figured Jack would understand and argued that nothing Finn found out could be as bad as finding out Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was his birth mother.
Steffy felt like Finn, Jack and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) had a bond that would never be broken. Finn thought his parents were doing well since they just took a romantic trip up the coast.
Finn reflected on how Li seemed to be trying to put the whole Sheila ordeal behind her – and Steffy suggested they all were.
At Ill Giardino, Sheila said maybe the day Jack had been dreading was finally here. She didn’t think Finn’s questions would go away and argued that the truth would be better coming from Jack.
Although Jack worried about blowing up his marriage and destroying his relationship with Finn, Sheila felt like the best thing he could do is come clean.
Afterward, Jack returned to his hotel room and quickly made Li nervous with his pensive mood. Jack confessed that he had something to tell Li and desperately hoped she could understand.
At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) made a special trip to drop off some paperwork to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Carter and Katie talked about how nice it had been getting to know each other on a deeper level.
Carter insisted that neither one of them should be second best, especially not Katie. After Katie admitted she really needed to hear that today, Carter told her she was unlike anyone he’d ever met.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter and Katie will keep moving forward in their romance, so we’ll see how fast things go from here.
