The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, November 9 Recap – Deacon’s Sad Farewell – Katie’s Double Standard for Carter

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 9, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) double standard for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) appalled Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) – and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) wound up facing a sad farewell.

At home on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) protested over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) trying to drag Deacon out.

Ridge wondered if Brooke was actually going to defend Deacon after all his mistakes, but Brooke felt they should respect Hope’s wishes for her father to stay.

Deacon made it clear that he was done with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and just wanted a chance to be a dad to his daughter. Hope wondered if that was really so much to ask and thought they should at least let Deacon try.

Ridge eventually piped up about the children, but Deacon wondered if Ridge really thought he’d do anything to hurt his grandchildren.

Hope insisted she always put her children first, so Ridge thought that meant surely Hope wasn’t buying this “changed man” routine. He didn’t think Brooke should buy it either, so he pushed her to tell Deacon to get out and never come back.

Deacon argued that he came there to make amends, but not at the expense of causing problems for Hope or problems for Ridge and Brooke.

Ridge felt like Deacon would like to cause issues, so Deacon admitted the old him would probably use the situation to his advantage.

However, Deacon promised he wasn’t like that now. He shared a sweet moment with Hope and assured her of his love.

Hope didn’t want Deacon to go, but it meant so much just to hear her say that. Deacon told Hope he’d miss her along with the grandchildren and felt he owed Brooke for raising such a wonderful young woman.

Deacon promised that they’d always be connected since Hope was in his heart and he was in hers, too.

After Deacon walked out, Ridge gladly shut the door behind him. Hope rejected Brooke’s attempt to comfort her and looked livid with Ridge. Brooke also gave Ridge a glare to show her disapproval.

At Forrester Creations, Katie and Quinn continued to clash in Carter’s presence. Quinn ranted about the Logan women not playing fair, but Katie brought up how unfair it was when Quinn made sure Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) got fired.

After Quinn talked about rejecting Carter for the sake of her marriage, Katie wondered about the reason for this visit.

Katie asked if Quinn had reconsidered and decided to leave Eric Forrester (John McCook) for Carter, so Quinn suggested the Logan sisters would like the chance to slide Donna in her place. She thought they’d have a big bonfire when they burned her portrait!

Quinn confirmed she wouldn’t be picking up where she left off with Carter, but Katie acted like her rival was being insensitive of Carter’s feelings since he was standing right there.

Although Katie would never condone the affair, she knew Carter was a good and decent man who simply got caught up in Quinn’s web.

Quinn was appalled over the double standard since Katie was cutting Carter slack while considering her completely irredeemable.

Katie argued that Quinn was clearly the instigator and ranted about how Quinn needed so much attention.

Katie hoped Carter wouldn’t get caught up like that again and insisted he deserved a woman who put him first. Quinn exchanged a look with Carter as Katie smiled at him dreamily.

Meanwhile, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was pleased over the way Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) were getting along.

Thomas talked about how he wanted to be the best version of himself so Douglas could look up to him.

Paris assured Thomas that he was already a great parent, so he thought that meant a lot coming from someone as kind and compassionate as her. “You’re kind of like Hope in that way,” Thomas confessed.

After Douglas finished his homework, he asked if Paris was his daddy’s girlfriend. Douglas liked Paris and seemed excited over her dating Thomas, but Thomas and Paris explained the roommate situation.

Once Douglas understood, he made things awkward all over again by asking if Paris would be moving with them once Thomas found a new place.

Thomas and Paris clarified that Paris would stay at the apartment, though she was certainly still willing to hang out with Douglas.

After Douglas gave Paris a high five, fist bump and a hug, Thomas smiled at the sight of them together.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will work to make Paris his legitimate girlfriend soon enough!
