The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, June 21, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have the power to free Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thanks to some Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) texts that explain all. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will also fight reality despite Liam’s push for tough acceptance, so here’s what fans can expect on Monday’s B&B episode.
In jail, Liam will receive another visit from Hope, but he won’t be doing the greatest behind bars. No matter how hard Liam tries to keep the faith about his freedom, he always sinks back into a dark place.
Hope may think Liam should just lean on his wife and trust her when she says they’ll be together again. However, Liam will feel like Hope’s in denial about the kind of future they can realistically have.
Liam will feel like Hope deserves so much more than conversations through jailhouse phones and plexiglass.
Hope will refuse to give up on the idea of getting their life together back on track, but Liam will embrace a more somber tone of resignation. He may not want Hope to visit as much, especially if he gets convicted.
Liam might contend that if he’s going to be locked up indefinitely, Hope will need to move on without him.
Hope won’t be ready to throw in the towel on her marriage, so she may vow to wait for Liam for as long as it takes. Meanwhile, Thomas will miss Vinny terribly – so much so that he unblocks his buddy’s phone number just to see previous texts.
What Thomas won’t count on is seeing brand-new info that’ll totally change the investigation.
Vinny tried to get in touch with Thomas the night he was killed, so that’ll bring a wave of guilt. It’ll make Thomas feel like he could’ve helped if he’d only known these critical new facts of the case.
Unfortunately, what’s done is done – at least when it comes to the outcome for Vinny. The good news is Thomas can still change things for Liam and maybe even Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
The bad news is clearing Liam’s name won’t be as simple as exposing these messages to the Spencer men’s attorney.
Thomas will read through the texts Vinny sent and know without a shadow of a doubt that Liam is an innocent man. He’ll have the proof right there in his hand!
That’s why Thomas will rush to find Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears), but Justin’s upcoming reaction will leave Thomas in a horrible predicament he never expected.
