The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, June 7, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will drop a Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) killer bomb on Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) delivers a bittersweet gift to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Ridge should get the scoop on Liam’s role in the hit-and-run accident from Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), who just heard the shocking truth from Hope. Once Ridge realizes Liam mowed Vinny down, he’ll want to give Thomas some sense of closure.
Of course, Ridge will worry about his son’s reaction – especially since Thomas has been doing so well these days. The last thing Ridge wants is for Thomas to come unhinged and revert to the wild behavior of the past.
Nevertheless, Thomas deserves to hear what really happened, so he’ll find out Liam was behind the wheel that night. Thomas’ first reaction will be one of disbelief since he had no clue Liam was involved at all.
He’ll struggle to believe this is right, but Ridge may point out that the info came straight from Hope.
Once Thomas accepts that Liam’s the reason Vinny is dead, it’ll infuriate him. Liam certainly isn’t Thomas’ favorite person, so this will stir up Thomas’ hatred and leave him fuming.
Thomas will eventually try to calm down, but Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) involvement should leave him seething all over again.
Thomas at least appreciates the work Liam puts into being a good dad, so there’s some level of admiration there. When it comes to Bill, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone Thomas loathes more!
Thomas will find out Bill’s responsible for fleeing the crime scene and leaving bloody Vinny behind. It’ll leave Thomas outraged, but he’ll be glad Bill’s locked up.
Thomas should have mixed feelings about Liam since he’ll hate that Hope’s in so much pain, but he won’t be ready to forgive and forget Liam’s role in all this. It was an accident, but it’ll be easier to play the blame game in this emotional moment.
Even so, Thomas will have to consider other options as he ponders this case. In the coming episodes, we’ll see Thomas start thinking about who would actually have a motive to kill Vinny.
Thomas won’t make any progress on that for a while, but it’ll cross his mind that there may be more to the story – that somebody else might be the true villain here.
Next, Hope will ask Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) if he can help get Liam out of the slammer. She’ll be counting on Liam to make bail, but this isn’t something that’ll happen quickly – if it happens at all. Justin will do what he can to help, but Hope will visit Liam in the meantime.
Hope will deliver a drawing that one of the children passed along, so Liam will offer a sad smile as Hope shows him in the visitors’ area.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will reaffirm her love and commitment to Liam no matter what.
Hope will do everything in her power to make sure Liam’s reunited with his family, but she’ll have to be patient until then. As other B&B news emerges, we’ll bring you more updates.
It sounds like Hope and Liam’s future will come with some highs and lows in the coming months, but they’ll hang in there and hope better days are ahead.
