The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, June 24, teases that Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) will reject Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) plea while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) count on a flawed plan.
For starters on Thursday’s B&B episode, Thomas will hope Justin still has a heart somewhere in there. He knows Justin has always been a ride-or-die friend to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so he’ll try to restore that sense of loyalty.
Thomas will insist that Justin cares about Bill and his family. He’ll want Justin to grant him his freedom so he can spill what he knows to free Bill and Liam.
However, Justin will be sick and tired of always following Bill’s orders. He’ll feel like there’s no room for advancement at Spencer Publications as long as Bill’s in charge.
Justin may have been a loyal pal in the past, but he’ll feel like it’s his turn to be selfish and get what he deserves. After years of hard work, Justin will want to run Spencer Publications his way.
Of course, Thomas will argue that Justin’s going to extremes to make that happen. Throwing someone in a cage isn’t the answer, so Thomas will wonder if Justin’s really just going to leave him there.
Justin probably hasn’t thought that far ahead just yet, but he’ll let Thomas know he’s staying put for the time being. If Thomas brings up Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), Justin might contend that Douglas has a big family support system to handle things.
This might even be a good time for Justin to bring up the death of his niece, Emma Barber (Nia Sioux). Thomas went speeding after Emma the night she died and didn’t get her help following the crash.
Justin could easily argue that Thomas deserves to sit in that cage and think about his own mistakes.
Whatever the case, Thomas will try to get Justin to do the right thing and prove unsuccessful. Justin’s need for power will win out, so he’ll head back to the Spencer Publications office soon and prepare to lead the company in the direction he wants.
In the slammer, Liam and Bill will meet up in a common area to discuss what’s ahead.
Although Liam should still be down in the dumps and doubtful that he’ll wiggle out of this, Bill will keep the faith. He’ll want Liam to cling to hope as well since he considers Justin to be the most trustworthy person on the payroll.
Bill and Liam will talk about the plan Justin’s cooking up to ensure they walk free. They won’t realize Justin has gone rogue and is now focusing on a very different plan – one that’s all about staying in charge and keeping the Spencer men locked up.
