The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 17, reveals that Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) sought engagement ring help from Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) while Jack Finnegan (Ted King) begged for Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) forgiveness.
At home on Wednesday’s B&B episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) discussed his parents’ upcoming visit before talk turned to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Finn suggested it might be best if his birth father remained a mystery considering how things went with Sheila.
However, Steffy felt like Finn wanted to meet his bio dad deep down. Finn praised his adoptive parents, but Steffy understood that he still had questions.
They pondered the possibility that Sheila might be lying – that she might have never told the father she was pregnant or that she was on the run from the police.
Finn also considered the possibility that Sheila truly didn’t know and talked about imagining what his father was like growing up. He eventually realized he didn’t need to wonder since he already had the best mom and dad in the world.
Part of Finn felt guilty for asking about his birth father since Jack was such a decent, devoted man. Finn said Jack had always stayed true to his vows and hyped up the importance of Jack’s marriage to Li.
Finn felt Jack and Li were his parents in every way that counted. “They never let me down and never will,” Finn declared.
In their hotel room, Jack admitted there was something he should’ve told Li a long time ago. Li wanted to put this off until later, but Jack reflected on the first time they brought their son home.
Jack shocked Li by revealing that he reached out to Sheila, who had been facing Finn’s questions about his biological father.
Jack confessed he knew the identity of Finn’s father and had known all of Finn’s life. Li was confused when Jack said he didn’t want to hurt her with the truth.
Jack divulged that it was someone Li knew before finally revealing it was him – that he was Finn’s biological father.
“You had an affair with Sheila Carter?!” Li blurted out. Jack said it didn’t last long, but Li fired back that it lasted long enough to make a child and ranted about how they’d been living a lie. She guessed Jack convinced Sheila to give Finn up so they could adopt him.
Li argued that Jack didn’t just betray her and their marriage. “You betrayed our son, Jack – or should I say YOUR son,” Li snapped. She was furious over Jack pretending he was in the dark and refusing to take Finn’s uncertainty away from him.
Jack countered that a father was a father and that he was always there for Finn. He begged Li to forgive him, but Li seemed nowhere near ready to do that and wondered if Finn would ever forgive his dad.
At Forrester Creations, Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) made sure everything was all set for the Hope for the Future preview run-through.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) marveled over it happening this early, so Thomas explained they normally didn’t have this many designs ready in advance.
Hope revealed that she asked Paris to do the introduction for the preview, so Thomas and Zende said she’d be great. Paris was reluctant at first, but she caved after hearing the support and said she’d be honored.
Thomas teased that Paris should hit the runway as well – and Zende agreed Paris was gorgeous enough to be a model.
As Zende and Paris made out, Thomas didn’t look happy about it. Zende and Thomas bickered a little over designs, but Thomas assured Hope it was just a little friendly competition between cousins.
After Paris asked about the showstopper, Zende insisted he was still working on it and made it clear that it had to remain top secret.
When Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) appeared, she told Zende she had time now if he was ready. Zende said they should head to the design office, so Paris wondered what that was about.
Paris thought maybe Zende was acting cryptic because his meeting with Quinn was about showstopper.
Later, Thomas dropped a hint about being envious of Zende. “What guy wouldn’t want what my cousin has? A woman as special as you,” Thomas said. That comment caught Paris off guard as she stared at Thomas.
Meanwhile, Zende wanted to talk to Quinn about his future with Paris and praised all her fantastic qualities.
Quinn asked what this had to do with her, so Zende said he was hoping for a favor.
After Zende talked about how Paris was the real deal and had changed his life, Quinn realized he wanted help to take things to the next level. “You want me to make you an engagement ring?” Quinn asked.
Zende replied that he wanted the perfect ring for the perfect woman since Paris Buckingham was perfect in every way!
