The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 24, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hugged ‘Mom’ before Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) bubble had to burst. There was also some fortune cookie fun, so here’s what played out on Wednesday’s B&B episode.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house, she hosted Thanksgiving along with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) joined the party, which also included Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
The little ones were off having fun with the nanny, but Liam was grateful they could all come together like this.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) showed up next – though Carter sought reassurance from Ridge about his presence and offered a bottle of something special as a peace offering.
Carter and Paris exchanged Thanksgiving well wishes before Brooke gathered everyone around to get this holiday party started. Zende shared some lovey-dovey moments with Paris as they enjoyed the celebration together.
Finn and Steffy spoke to Liam, Hope, Ridge and Brooke about the Jack Finnegan (Ted King) bio dad situation.
Since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) wasn’t really feeling up to socializing, Finn offered an apology for her absence.
Hope mentioned how Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) must wish he could celebrate with them.
Although Hope didn’t want to launch another argument and understood why Deacon couldn’t come, she still seemed irritated and disappointed.
Meanwhile, Deacon grumbled about spending Thanksgiving in Sheila’s hotel room instead of with Hope at Brooke’s place.
Sheila wasn’t thrilled about Deacon being her only company either and also felt they should be spending the holiday with their kids.
Deacon had a fantasy about showing up to Thanksgiving dinner and getting a handshake from a happy Liam. Hope was tickled pink to have her dad be part of the festivities.
There was talk about the children being excited to see Grandpa Deacon – and even Ridge was willing to admit Deacon was a changed man!
After Brooke said Deacon belonged there and pulled him into a warm embrace, Sheila pushed Deacon to come back to reality.
They had some Chinese takeout that included Deacon’s fortune about becoming wealthier and wealthier.
Sheila’s fortune said she had a friendly heart and that she was appreciated, so Deacon scoffed about that being rich!
Sheila pointed out that at least her son likes her, but Deacon countered that Sheila didn’t get an invite to Thanksgiving dinner.
After Sheila argued that Finn would’ve welcomed her if he had his way, she had a perfect fantasy of her own.
Brooke saw Sheila entered and demanded to know what she was doing there…without the sweet potatoes. Everyone laughed as Sheila admitted she forgot them in the car.
“Mom! Is it OK if I call you that?” a grinning Steffy asked as she approached. Sheila assured “sweetheart” that was absolutely fine and accepted Steffy’s huge hug.
Finn made it a group hug before Ridge and Brooke voiced their approval of Sheila being there.
Steffy insisted Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) and Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette) were so excited to see their wonderful grandmother.
Sheila thanked everyone for this incredible moment as Finn acknowledged that “Mom” had finally been accepted into the family.
Back in the real world, Deacon chuckled over the SWAT team coming in next and suggested that’d be the end of the fairytale.
Sheila thought her vision could come true and felt confident that she could have acceptance someday.
At Brooke’s place again, Liam said he was glad Finn was part of the family. Steffy and Hope were also grateful to have reached a peaceful place after being rivals in the past.
Ridge eventually made a speech about the ups and downs of the last year. He teased Carter about being a “player,” but he still considered him his best friend and knew everybody made mistakes.
Ridge made a few more acknowledgments about what they’d all been through before he expressed his deep love for Brooke.
Once it was time to eat, Brooke said they should go forward with kindness and gratitude in their hearts. Everyone filled up a plate and sat together as they shared a wonderful meal.
