The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a surprising connection is forming, which brings the question: Will John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) cheat with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and force Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to face payback for her Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) betrayal?
B&B fans know Steffy had a one-night stand with Liam, which led to him initially being a father option for her child.
Thanks to Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) paternity test tampering, Steffy actually believed Liam was the “baby daddy” early on.
Finn forgave Steffy and was willing to stand by her, even when he thought he’d be raising another man’s kid.
Of course, the true DNA results eventually came to light, so Finn happily proposed and committed to his future with Steffy.
All things considered, Steffy never got much of a comeuppance for cheating. Finn was always the loyal man of her dreams and continues to be that to this day.
However, soaps aren’t the place for sinless characters without flaws! Finn is Mr. Perfect, but for how long?
The show surely won’t keep Finn’s record spotless forever, so we should start thinking about how he might hurt Steffy – because that pain is coming if B&B history’s any indication.
No one’s saying Finn has to be as bad as Liam the waffle king, but it’d give him some depth if he made some mistakes and had something to apologize for.
Steffy doesn’t need to be the only one who’s screwed up in this relationship, so maybe Finn’s time for a betrayal blunder is coming up.
After all, doesn’t this Paris stuff just feel out of the blue and weird? Like the show’s putting Paris in Finn and Steffy’s orbit out of nowhere for some contrived plot point?
That plot point might involve cheating if that’s how the writers want to take this. Paris certainly seems to find the good doctor handsome and wonderful.
Finn and Paris are impressed with each other, so that could serve as the foundation for a growing connection – especially with Paris living at the cliff house for a while.
It’d really be something if Steffy inadvertently invited “the other woman” into the picture by offering her home to Paris.
This all feels very sweet and innocent right now, but we could be headed for a scandalous turn.
There’s some drama brewing with Finn and his parents, so that could easily set the stage for some fights with Steffy and the opportunity to stray.
Paris might find herself caught up in a steamy moment with Finn, who could sleep with her and regret it later.
Perhaps Finn will cheat and have to beg for forgiveness from Steffy down the road.
Naturally, there’s no guarantee that’s how things will play out, but the show’s moved Paris in the ideal position for cheating if that’s what’s in store.
