Tonight’s episode begins with the judges who are introduced with Blake named The King. He really enjoys this. The show starts right away, returning to blind auditions. Raquel is from Miami. She is 20 and loves Florida. She loves glass art and singing, her main focus. She hits the stage singing Stevie Wonder. John, Kelly, and Ariana are all interested. Blake thinks she needs to go with Ariana who lovers her precision and style. Ariana doesn’t trust when Blake says this. Kelly and John defend themselves against Blake. They are both season winners and are not jaded as he says. Raquel picks Ariana.

A country trio is up next. They are a family who has each had a rough road but is stuck together. The Joy Reunion takes the stage and instantly excites the audience and the judges. Blake hits his button. John also turns. Blake tells them the country is his life while John loves their sound. They choose Blake.

A young teen takes the stage to sing. She is just 13 and blows the judges away. Kelly turns first. They are in awe. She has been waiting years to turn 13 to be on the show. Kelly loves her power. John thinks she is great and sees the audience likes her. Ariana wants to help her grow. Blake thinks she should pick Ariana. Kelly is annoyed. She chooses Ariana.

Kelly tells Blake Ariana doesn’t need help. Ariana tells her to shut up. They all fight. Blake calls Ariana his granddaughter. She doesn’t think so. All he knows is that he doesn’t want Kelly or John to win.

Jocelyn loves her uncle who is also her guardian. Her mom couldn’t raise her so he did and now he is her dad. He also calls her his daughter. All she wants is for him to win but not pick Ariana! He is missing her graduation fir the Blinds but Jocelyn wanted him to be here.

Kelly turns, then Blake to see Jeremy Rosado from Tampa. Kelly loves his vocals. She loves his jazzy, country rendition. Before Blake can give his pitch, Ariana tells him to go with Kelly. Blake is annoyed, he chooses Kelly. She is so excited. She thanks Ariana for the backup. Blake cannot believe Ariana did that. Their friendship is over.

Blake tells Ariana she is no longer her grandfather. It’s on to Carson Peters, a young talent who has been performing for a while. He thinks Ariana could be his biggest help. He wants to be noticed for his vocals while he is a former fiddle player. He takes the stage with a guitar, singing country.

John turns right away. Blake is next. Kelly follows along with Ariana. They all scramble to win over Carson. Blake is feeling great when Carson signs on to his team.

Keilah, who is just 15, sings “They Can Never Tear Us Apart.” She has been into music since a young age as well as her whole family. They are all very musical. They encourage e her to follow her passions. John wants to dedicate all of his time to her after turning to see her. She is young and full of promise. She has to choose between John, Ariana, and Kelly. She is torn. She chooses John. John is surprised and very happy. He gives her a robe.

Bubba from New York had a hard time growing up gay. Despite his culture, his dad accepted this right away. He takes the stage but doesn’t get anyone to turn. They all give him construction criticism and hope.

A young female named Samara takes the stage. She excites John and has Ariana out of her seat. They both fight for her. Blake explains why he didn’t turn his chair. He didn’t want to interfere with her and John working. He is on John’s side now. Kelly loves her vocals and thinks she needs to go to Team Ariana. Samara picks John.

Lucas is from Newport, Rhode Island. He has been playing guitar since he was 6. When he started playing in a garage band he started singing. When he was 18 he performed publicly. He was nervous but realized this was his calling.

He loves James Taylor and even performed in front of him. He is now 20 and wants to make the Blinds. He takes the stage and sings a song from Taylor. No-one turns. Kelly needed more dynamics. Ariana needed the same. He needs more practice but they hope he comes back.

Holly sings Rocket Man. She gets all of them to turn instantly. Her husband thinks she has the best voice. They have been making music for a while, writing and playing. She works with children with special needs and has been a backup singer here and there. She has loved music since she was a kid. She lost her hair and listened to music because it gave her confidence. Blake loved her little notes. Ariana thought the whole thing was so emotionally charged. John loved her compelling performance. Kelly loved her voice. Who will she pick?
