The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may stop Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) from leaving town if it comes down to it. Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) plan to rid GC of this schemer could fail if she’s underestimated the power of love!
Of course, Adam isn’t in love with Sally just yet, but there’s the potential for Y&R to end up there based on this pairing’s strong spark.
Adam isn’t ready to go all in with someone, but Sally’s hoping he’ll go all in with her once he’s prepared. There was definitely a sense of sweet hope between Sally and Adam in Tuscany.
However, Lauren made some rather ominous comments over the dress fiasco. She really needs to be upset about her designer’s dress not being as good as Sally’s perfect gown, but it’s easier to just blame Sally for everything.
It’s true that Sally has had epic screwups since she showed up in town, but she’s not the monster so many people make her out to be. Nevertheless, Lauren suggested Sally’s reign of terror wouldn’t end unless someone put a stop to it.
That someone may be Lauren based on how passionate she feels about pushing Sally out of the picture.
Lauren feels like Sally’s only going to continue down this road of alienating everybody in her path. She fully expects Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to get stabbed in the back and believes Sally will eventually see there’s nothing left for her in GC.
We’ve heard things like this from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) before, but Phyllis is Phyllis!
It’s nothing new when Phyllis rants and schemes, but Lauren’s angry warnings may be different.
It just feels like Lauren may be fed up enough to actually do something about Sally – maybe even something that could lead to Sally’s surrender.
There’s the potential for trouble if Lauren teams up with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) upon her return or something along those lines.
Lauren will have to be careful since she won’t want to derail Chloe’s career, but she may believe she’s doing what’s best for Chloe in the long run.
There’s surely some strategy Lauren can use to set Sally up for a fall and make her consider leaving Genoa City behind permanently.
Will Adam be the one who convinces Sally to stick around? Will Adam thwart whatever plan Lauren concocts to get rid of Sally forever?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren’s wrath could lead to bad news for Sally, but let’s hope Adam realizes he can’t let Sally walk out of his life!
